I have only just managed to unpack and sit down to write this message of appreciation. I will keep this as short and relevant as possible.
I write this post on behalf of all small business owners who traded at this year’s events . Whilst the experience to be on the other side and engage with the public and fellow traders was nothing short of amazing🤩 from a sales perspective though much of our business has been overshadowed and swallowed up by the bigger brands. The extreme high costs to not only secure our stand but every single additional item needed to run a functional stand has left us barely breaking even. We live to tell the story in the hope that the exposure will help push our brands forward.
A huge shoutout out and The Travelling Craft Room for their support; friends and colleagues and EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER who attended my cooking demos and purchased my spice products and yoga wear

Mediterranean influenced Vegan Okra Stew made with my Kofta Spices! I just added some hot paprika, amchur (mango powder but you can use sumac of course which I didn’t have) and extra garam masala to lend a hint of sweet tanginess and depth of flavour.
There are so many variations of this recipe. I started out by lightly frying off the okra to remove the “slimy” consistency before adding to the sauce to ensure they remain whole and to prevent them from lumping together. I prepared the sauced using an onion, garlic, ginger and tomato base. I then added all the kofta spices and sautéed the mixture before adding in water and bringing the pot to a simmer. I covered and cooked this for a good 15 minutes then blended it through to a smooth creamy consistency. I gradually added in more water, simmering to reach my desired consistency. At this point I added in the additional spices (paprika, amchur and garam masala, before stirring in the fried okra. I covered the pot and cooked for another 8- 10 mins.
Tip: Try not to overcook the okra - it is already fried and therefore part cooked - or else the okra will disintegrate into mush!

My Quinoa Salad
1/2 cup white quinoa
1/2 cup black quinoa
1/2 cucumber, diced
1 medium tomato, roughly chopped
1 medium ripened firm avocado, roughly chopped
1/2 tsp course black pepper
Himalayan salt to taste
1. Rinse the quinoa well and bring to boil in 1-2 cups slogjtly salted water.
2. Cover and simmer until cooked. Allow to cool.
3. Mix in all other ingredients with the cooled quinoa.
Served immediately or chilled in your favourite bowl 😋
