What is Microneedling?
A manual or electrical device with needles to pe*****te the scar is used to help ‘remodel’ the collagen that makes up the scar.
The treatment is usually performed under local anaesthetic and your scar may be prepared with various vitamin creams before that may also be appropriate to use after the procedure.
This treatment is provided for you by one of our Plastic Surgeons or Dermatologists.

During Radiofrequency Ablation AKA RFA, a catheter is placed in the diseased vein under real-time ultrasound guidance, and radiofrequency energy heats the vein tissue.
The vein is closed and is eventually sealed shut. The abnormal reflux of blood is stopped.
This is an outpatient procedure, performed under local anaesthetic with resumption of normal activity within a day.
