Full Facial Rejuvenation 💫

2 sessions to achieve these beautiful results. Here is what i did:

1- Medial Cheek Filler - To restore lost volume in the medial cheek compartment we used a combination of needle and cannulae technique to rebuild structure and support.

2- Tear Trough Filler - we only ever use very small amounts of product here deposited VERY slowly in a microdroplet technique. Results can be a bit underwhelming but the trick is to always undertreat here to get the best results.

3- Nasolabial folds - The best approach to this area is 'lift' the pyriform fossa, by treating the obvious shadow closest to the nose, then softly chasing the NLF with less product to avoid adding heaviness to this area of the face (we don't want you to look like a chipmunk!)

4- Chin Filler and Jowls - feminising the chin by creating a more heart shaped face and a more contoured anterior jawline, this brings the entire transofrmation together so well.

5- Lips - we worked on balancing proportions, improving overall symmetry and volume whilst giving her lips better hydration and deifinition.

LIPS & CHIN ❤

This is what I'd describe as a subtle but impactful difference. It was very important to have a more global approach here and not treat the lip in isolation as this gorgeous lady's chin was slightly set back from her side profile. This basically meant if we treated her lips alone, it could result in a more 'ducky' look and wouldn't sit in harmony with her other features. That's why its important to pick your injector wisely because often times when the whole face isn't assessed properly and we just fill where the patient THINKS they need the filler it could lead to an overall poor result or just create/ add to a new problem.

Thanks for all the love in my DM's regarding my last reel. Thought I'd post a side by side of this beautiful girls lip transformation.

Good things take time, and that's especially true for lip fillers.

Years of experience has taught me that the best results are seen by gradually stretching the lip tissue. So, if a patient comes in with a focus on just getting '1ml of lip filler' , but I believe that's not the best course of treatment for them, I'll kindly decline.

Every pair of lips (and overall face) is unique, so it's important to approach each patient's needs individually. By taking a gradual approach to treatment and working with each patient's unique lips, we can achieve beautiful and natural-looking results.

Trust the process and trust me. It's worth it!

There are few moments in life that can truly take your breath away, and for me, it was holding my newborn baby in my arms for the first time. Instantly, I felt an overwhelming sense of love and responsibility for this precious, tiny human being❤

I've realised though that the challenges of motherhood are often left unspoken. Have all moms made a pact to keep this insider info to themselves? The sleepless nights, constant cluster feedings, never-ending diaper changes , the loneliness, hormonal fluctuations- it's okay to admit that it's not all sunshine and rainbows. But through this journey, I've realized that motherhood is actually the most rewarding job.

I'm excited to roll my sleeves up and get back to seeing you all again, not only because I love what I do but to now show my son the value of hard work and perseverance, and to inspire him to dream big.

To all the moms out there who are working tirelessly to make a better life for their families, I see you and I admire you. You are superheroes in my eyes. Remember to take care of yourself and never forget the incredible work that you do. ❤️

I saw a lovely patient this week who said she was in to have her lips enhanced because her mother said it would make her look more beautiful and sought after for marriage. I mean I was taken back. Angry. Sad. Safe to say we spoke about HER own thoughts, feelings and wishes and after a long discussion agreed it was ultimately best to not move forward with treatment. My clinic is always a safe space to talk openly and freely without judgement but nothing annoys me more than when I hear treatments are being sought for the approval and acceptance of others.

Since when was it okay to impose your thoughts and opinion upon someone else when it comes to how they look, how they dress, whether or not they should wear make up or have a certain cosmetic treatment. NEVER. AND you know what, women get this all the time.  Every person's journey on this earth is unique. Let's stop judging, throwing our own insecurities onto others and raise each other up instead. We need this now more than ever.

Women in Iran are fighting for their right to not wear the hijab, while women in India and France are fighting for their right to wear one. Both are fighting for their own right to CHOOSE. Whether it's your mum, a friend, a boss or a government. Noone should use coercion or any form of brutality to control or dictate how a woman should look.

This lovely lady initially came in for tear trough filler BUT this is what we ended up doing:

1- Medical microneedling to address skin concerns

2- CHEEK FILLER

3- NASOLABIAL FOLDS/SMILE LINE FILLER

No tear troughs treated. Sometimes you come in with a certain idea of what you want treated, but then an in depth consultation allows you to stand back and look at your face as a whole and map out the pattern of ageing or volume loss so that in essence we avoid overfilling areas unnecessarily. These treatments automatically improved her under eye dark circles and results will last her a while. She looks lifted, refreshed and more rejuvenated and more importantly she was so happy.

This beautiful lady wasn't entirely happy with the last treatment she had elsewhere 2 years ago. So we spoke about her main lip goals, discussed and carefully planned what product and techniques were best for her lips and voila....she was over the moon!

👀 With the thinnest skin on the body at less than 1mm thick, the eye area/tear trough is often the first facial area to show visible signs of ageing.

Adding to this, seven muscle groups act on each side with every expression and blink , bone resorbs around the orbital rim,  collagen is lost in the skin, laxity in the ligaments and prolapse of fat as well as hollowing is all experienced. On top of all of this the area is extremely vascular so there are lots of blood vessels running close to supply vision.

 So when it comes to treating this area...please please don't let treatment cost be the deciding factor when choosing your injector. Do your research. In my experience this area needs a slow steady approach, and most of the time much of the tear trough improvement can be achieved by treating the mid face-cheeks first to support the eye lid. Then only minimal amount are needed in the actual periorbital region.

😍I was over the moon with these results. Honestly it's so so important to manage expectations and remember that every set of lips are different. With this patient we were able to achieve this with a single session using 1ml of dermal filler. For others, achieving a result like this can take several visits, and for other tricky lips it may even be impossible. That's why usually the longest part to your appointment is actually the consultation and assessment.

💉I used an ultra soft product and finely deposited it in a unique consistent fashion to ensure we stayed within the lip tissue border and kept her lips looking natural. We focused on amping up the volume, and adding definition whilst maintaining crisp borders.

Please also note these lips are also super swollen so once they settle they will look more natural too.

👀I'll be honest...I was initially skeptical about how much we can do to help improve and enhance this lovely woman's features as i was eager to treat her skin quality and texture first.
