Mind dumping, also known as journaling or writing therapy served me greatly once upon a time. So beneficial for overthinkers for several reasons:
Externalising Thoughts: Overthinkers often have a whirlwind of thoughts swirling in their minds, causing mental clutter and distress. Mind dumping allows them to externalize these thoughts by putting them onto paper. This act of transferring thoughts from the mind to the page can create a sense of relief and mental clarity.
Creating Distance:
Writing down repetitive or anxious thoughts helps overthinkers create distance from them. Seeing thoughts on paper allows for objective observation, enabling them to gain perspective and challenge their thinking patterns.
Emotional Release: Overthinking is often accompanied by intense emotions. Through mind dumping, overthinkers can express their emotions freely without judgment. Writing can serve as a cathartic outlet, allowing them to release pent-up feelings and reduce emotional burden.

✅ Don't miss meals; eating numerous smaller meals throughout the day is preferable to one large one.
✅ Put knife and fork down in-between mouthfuls whilst chewing your food thoroughly.
✅ Eat when you are hungry, not when you are bored.
✅ Exercise for pleasure (not for weight loss). Experiment to find a fun exercise.
✅ Get motivated. Look for people in the health business to whom you can connect who have traveled a similar journey and emerged on the other side.

Fear and excitement are the same emotion.
And it's a feeling you can exert control over and decide what meaning you wish to give it…fear or excitement.
For some people the thought of jumping out a plane makes them very fearful, where others love it and feel excited.
Every time you feel fearful, you may replace it with EXCITED.
When the feeling starts to stir in your stomach rather than react with an internal “Oh no” instead embrace that same feeling with an external “Oh Yes!!!” and repeat 3 times.
When you are afraid of an impending hurdle...
When you encounter a problem that you are frightened to take on…
When you have an opportunity to grow...
..these are all instances in which you may USE FEAR TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.
It's YOU who will decide how to channel it.

Losing weight can be very tricky for some individuals.
Food is a huge part of life and your relationship with it determines whether it brings you joy or causes you distress. Gastric band surgery is a procedure in which the doctor places a band around the stomach to limit how much food it can handle. Walking into Adam’s office, I was sceptical but also in a state of despair. I had been trying to lose weight since the age of 10.
Adam helped me realise that I was only going make a sustainable change if I wanted to make the change for myself and myself only and not out of shame or guilt.
Adam understood what was going through my head very quickly and was able to help me connect my desire to lose weight to my life aspirations rather than connecting my desire to a negative perception of myself.
After the treatment I found myself making strong and sustainable changes to my lifestyle without noticing. I was enjoying walking more. I was owning my change and I was going to hit my target of losing 6 stone.
I have a completely new wardrobe and have lost 8 inches off my waist. I can feel my hips for the first time since I can remember. I sleep better and wake up more quickly in the morning.
