We turned up the creativity with a teambuilding event with Evolving Education and it was a blast!

Each teammate contributed to a symbolic mosaic masterpiece, showcasing the power of education. From a path leading the way (symbolizing new beginnings!) to flowers representing knowledge in bloom this collaborative artwork is a true reminder of what we can achieve together.

We're so proud of the team's work! It's a beautiful piece that inspires us to keep growing and learning.

I'm so proud of my amazing student! We have been working together for the last 3 weeks to understand the basics of figure drawing. Over the 3-week session, we honed our skillset and produced a final painting based on a life pose. I just love her composition, color choice, and structure!

What a great day Uptown Art Fair "Official"

My piece, "Introspection in Blue," found its forever home, and my live painting, "It Takes a Village," was a big hit. It’s a lot of fun to show people how to go from a blank canvas to a finished piece throughout the day.

I put the finishing touches on the piece I started last week during my morning live painting session todat at Loring Park. Stop by booth 106 to check it out and also see the afternoon live painting session, where I will be creating a new piece.

This piece captures the profound journey of self-discovery and personal growth that emerges from moments of solitude. It conveys the essential nature of embracing solitude as a cornerstone for building character. In these quiet, solitary moments, we reflect, evolve, and connect with our innermost selves. This painting is a tribute to the transformative power of solitude, reminding us that even in the absence of others, we are never truly alone.

Day 1 at the was a blast! Two of my favorite originals found their forever homes: "Sunset Bliss" was purchased by a lovely couple to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary, and "Separation of Self" was bought by another wonderful couple.

I also created a new piece live today called "Introspection in Blue." This painting serves as a poignant reminder for us to pause, reflect, and truly digest our days. Introspection allows us to connect with our inner selves, fostering growth, understanding, and mindfulness. Taking time to reflect can reveal new perspectives, helping us navigate our lives with greater clarity and purpose.

Protection V4" is the fourth piece in a series "Protection V4" Acyrlic on canvas 24x30 inch

Thiis the fourth piece in a series that seeks to spark dialogue on critical social issues. This painting focuses on the government's control over personal autonomy.

While inspired by the reversal of Roe v. Wade, the message "My Body, My Choice"emphasizes the broader implications of such government actions. As we head into the elections, "Protection V4" urges us to consider where such encroachments might lead. It questions the extent of governmental power over our bodies and challenges us to reflect on the importance of preserving personal freedoms and bodily autonomy in a 21st-century society.

This painting explores the concept feeling lost, which i have depicted by blending her into the background.The scratched out face, symbolizing her sense of being lost or obscured within her surroundings. This intentional act of erasure invites viewers to contemplate her emotional state and the idea of identity fading into the background.

By obscuring the face, I wanted to create a visual representation of anonymity and detachment. Of a loss of individuality which leaves behind a void where her features once existed. This absence of identity invites viewers to reflect on the universal human experience of feeling invisible or disconnected from oneself and others.

The blending of the woman into the background emphasizes her desire to merge with her environment, perhaps as a means of escape or a longing for a sense of belonging.
