Skin Aesthetics
Whatever your age and concerns, we will take a holistic approach to find a solution that is right fo
For me, Medical Aesthetics is about restoring the face, not about changing it.
When it comes to truly looking good, there are no quick fixes. However, by using the right skincare products and, in some cases, more invasive aesthetic treatments, it is very possible to maintain your youthful look well into your 60's and beyond. It is important to remember that the aim is not to have a face with no wrinkles and no movement; it is to have healthy, radiant skin and lines in the right places when you smile.
To be More You 😊.
Skin care plays an important role in your overall health and appearance. After all, your skin is the largest organ of your body.
Your skin acts as a barrier to our internal systems that are imperative to our health and well-being. Taking steps to properly care for our skin helps to ensure this important barrier is strong. As you age, your skin cells regenerate less frequently, which means your skin can start to show signs of aging and lose that youthful radiance.
Using high-quality skin care helps promote clear, glowing skin and a strong barrier function.
Everyone that knows me is aware that, for me, beauty and health are connected. Your inner health will always be as important as the outside. With cold weather and dark nights drawing in, seasonal illnesses are likely to spread over the coming weeks. Eating healthily and exercising outside can be harder to maintain as the weather worsens. Still, it is important to give your body the best chance to keep infections at bay.
With that in mind, I shared some recommendations to stay healthy with The Mirror.

Today we are 'wearing it pink' supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.
This year, around 55,000 women and 370 men in the UK will hear the words 'it's breast cancer', and approximately 11,500 women and 80 men will unfortunately die from it.
When we’re moving from summer to autumn, a warmer environment to a cooler one, you’ll probably have started to notice that your complexion is feeling more rough, flaky and irritated. A sudden drop in temperature and humidity means that your skin has to work twice as hard to maintain adequate hydration, particularly in extremely cold temperatures.
Dr Qian Xu, discusses this topic with Huel. Click the link below to read more.

Skin Health and the Changing Seasons Here’s why shifting weather calls for a new approach to your complexion… When the mercury switches things up, we’re used to tweaking our wardrobes accordingly. High consumption of sugar is definitely not good for your skin.
Skin is composed of collagen and elastin, which make our skin supple and soft. Sugar causes cross-linking of collagen, resulting in stiffening and loss of elasticity of our skin. The more sugar we have, the more our skin starts to suffer.
How we treat our bodies as a whole can reflect on our faces and worsen certain skin conditions.
So what differentiates medical grade from OTC products? is the ingredients! This includes the purity, concentration, selective blend of actives as well as elements like pH. When you’re roaming through a pharmacy or department store scavenging through the countless products, just know that these products are designed to keep even the most sensitive skin types safe. They are designed for the masses. They contain lower concentrations and buffers to prevent potentially irritating the skin.
👉Medical-grade ingredients usually have a punch. They are potent, pure and efficacious with the highest concentrations of active ingredients. And this is done with a purpose – to treat very specific skin conditions or concerns, under professional direction and get results.
If you are struggling with your skin, consider the possibility of medical grade skin care.
As a doctor, I strongly believe in looking far beyond the skin. When you take care of your body and what you do to maintain your skin, it will always show on the outside. Which is why it's important to make sure you are looking after yourself -
Because a healthy outside starts from within. 😊
One of my main missions is to help women achieve the confidence to feel comfortable in their own skin. As someone who has had skin problems in the past, I know how having acne or skin issues can affect our self-confidence, and I want you to know that you are not alone.

It is Rosacea Awareness Month -
1 in 10 people may have Rosacea. Rosacea is a common skin disease and can often be confused with acne. It often begins with a tendency to blush or flush more easily than other people.
There are four subtypes of rosacea. Each subtype has its own set of symptoms, and It's possible to have more than one subtype of rosacea at a time.
