We have a long history of formal shoes. From our very beginnings in 1989, we have meticulously sourced our leather from the world's leading tanneries and chosen our constructions and factories with the utmost care to create, we hope, the perfect footwear to accompany you to your special occasions. As much as we'd love the invitation, we're happy for our shoes to represent us.

We have teamed up with our great friend .wood , the world-renowned British explorer, writer and photographer, to create a limited-edition capsule collection.

The collection incorporates natural materials and Levison’s favourite linen in a range of stylish, well thought out designs, which are cool, comfortable and ideal for travel.

Levison has ventured extensively throughout the world and is best known for his extended walking expeditions through truly magnificent, but equally remote and challenging landscapes in Africa, Asia and Central America.

Most of us are unlikely to witness these marvels of our world first hand (or indeed have the skills to endure them) but fortunately Levison shares his journeys through his inspiring books, photography and documentaries, which we highly recommend.

Aside from the obvious excellence that flows out of Spain, it also produces the finest espadrilles in the world. Our Rioja espadrilles are hand-stitched on a hand coiled natural jute sole, with rubber tread for practicality. The fine calf suede uppers are embossed with a herringbone weave pattern and leather lined.

The Riviera shirt, as its name suggests, is most at home on somewhere on the Mediterranean with Spritz in hand, but if we're being honest, it looks just as good in a pub garden with a pint of Landlord. This season we've selected three breathable, summer-ready fabrics for our Ravenshead shirt: crisp cotton seersucker for a classic, textured look, waffle knitted jersey with its natural stretch, and lightweight 100% cotton for breathability.

Step into summer with our moccasin collection. Each pair is handcrafted and hand-stitched in our artisan factory in Elche, Spain. The moccasin construction provides a naturally flexible fit, while the cushioned insock delivers unparalleled comfort throughout the day.

Merino wool was developed to bring us the joys of natural wool all year round, pioneered by .baruffa.lane in Italy. A superfine breathable 27 gauge knit that keeps you cool when it's warm and warm when it's cool.

We like to think our trainers can take you pretty much anywhere. Premium suede and hand finished calf leather uppers with leather linings; the specification of serious footwear with the comfort of a trainer.

Pereta - your Summer events sorted - Our whole cut, tassel loafer from our artisan factory in Le Marche Italy. A wholecut uses one large piece of leather from the prime cut of the hide, producing a clean, aesthetic. The upper quickly and comfortably moulds to your foot, uninhibited by seams. Pereta is made from fine calf suede and fully leather lined. The upper detail includes twin tassels, a piped topline and an ‘air cord’ apron and side seams, whereby the leather is moulded over a cord and stitched. This gives the traditional loafer detailing, whilst retaining all the benefits of a whole-cut shoe. The upper is Blake stitched to a leather sole with our signature thumb print rubber tread, for additional practicality.

The Haverhill Knitted Organic Cotton Gilet - SELLING FAST. 💨

Our Quintos trainer is made from a soft navy calf suede in our specialist factory in Portugal. The upper pattern has clean lines with folded side panels, but with a wealth of comfort features on the inside.

Our lightweight runner is made from Todi calf leather, polished by hand to produce a depth of colour and unique patina with a vintage ‘old favourites’ appeal.

Expert tailoring and attention to detail provide the finishing touches to our men’s shirts, produced with fine cotton, brushed cotton and linen from the best mills in the world.

A new take on a traditional 1930’s style walking shoe. Our Norwegian welted hiker showcases premium fine nap calf suede with the Sweeney vintage treatment - the shoe are washed to create an antiqued ‘worn in’ look, finished with a St Moritz sole.

Our new Burras jacket is an ideal travelling companion, with all the comfort of a sweatshirt, but with a significantly more refined look. The fabrics is a cotton mix interlock jersey, with a soft, flexible stretch.

How to style our new merino wool zip through jumper. We’ve chosen a slightly thicker 18-gauge yarn than our standard, for a warmer layer. Merino wool is ideal for all year round.

Our new sand 100% linen, garment dyed summer blazer is smart but relaxed with unstructured shoulders and is unlined. The process of garment dyeing involves producing the jacket in a neutral coloured fabric before washing in a bath of dye. This softens the colour and texture of the garment creating a relaxed, vintage look.

We’ve updated our lightweight runner for Spring by using fine, soft calf suede in a tonal khaki and stone.
