It's really a pretty straightforward role extending excellent service towards our customers. This includes taking orders, serving, clearing tables and ensuring the cafe/bar is presentable at all times.

We all feel the temperature has dropped. The mornings are chilly, and the brolly is out of its holster a bit more.

But if we are honest, it can be a beautiful time of the year, especially in and around Broomfield Park.

We have been doing it for a while! We are working to streamline our 'takeaway' service, i.e. a new menu is on the way, and we are considering delivery, online ordering, mobile app etc.

Will you help us?

If you have visited us lately, you will have noticed that we are redesigning the interior and it's moving forward as planned. We hope you like it?

But if we don't tell people that we are here and why they should come the won't know, right?

That's why we request you to help us by telling family, friends, neighbours, friends, colleagues etc. what a great place we are. Tell them we aim to cater for families, mums with babies and kids, sole traders (we have plenty of plugs and WiFi) well anyone really primarily during daytime early evening. In the evening till late we cater for grown-ups by transforming the Cafe into a Bar for those who need a drink and a nice place to hang out with subtle music (sometimes live music) perhaps aperitif before dinner and a nightcap.

Also, if you can give us a review here on Facebook that would be awesome. We all rely a lot of other peoples opinion when we make decisions on where to go or what to by. It's straightforward to do and much appreciated.

We have engaged a social media and marketing expert to help us communicate with 'the world' and especially the local community. We want to be the community centre point and help support local event and activities. If you know of any organisation, club, group, local business network etc. who might need a venue for some hours during the daytime then send them to us. We can't help everybody, but we will do our best.

Oh, and soon the website and storefront sign will be in place, as well.
