Highly Commended in the Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology - Project is Jack Buckley ACIAT, Ulster University for Sirocco Quays: Multi-Generational Residential Scheme – a proposed redevelopment to extend and revitalise the East Bank of the River Lagan, resulting in a vibrant new waterfront urban quarter

Receiving Commended in the Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology - Project is Dylan O’Connor, South East Technological University for The Hex Building – the project focuses on sustainability and was inspired from a case study on the Hexalace building in India

Highly Commended in the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology - medium to large category is Specialist Veterinary Referral Hospital by Sheerin Bettle Architecture - a new build hospital for animals based in the heart of Hampshire

Receiving Commended in the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology - medium to large category is Blythe Rose by Paul Burton, A P Architecture Ltd – this is a state-of-the-art care home which enhances the quality of lives of those living with progressive brain conditions that affect memory and thinking skills

The Winner of the Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology – Report is… Jack Buckley ACIAT, Ulster University! Jack’s report highlights the multifaceted nature of fire safety challenges in ventilated rainscreen cladding

Highly Commended is Saif Wasim, Ulster University! Saif’s report investigated and refined communication for both lecturers and students by integrating a virtual space layout

Commended is Jack Fleming, Atlantic Technological University! Jack’s research was conducted to investigate the opportunities for using h**p lime composite as a natural building material for proposed walls in Irish construction

And here's our first Winner! Irish Life Sciences Global HQ by Mel McGerr FCIAT, MMA Architects is the Winner of the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology - small to medium category!

The second Highly Commended project in the small to medium category is Holly Hall Barn by JDDK Architects – a barn that has been converted, refurbished, altered and extended into a new dwelling

The first taking home Highly Commended in the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology - small to medium category is Plot 9, Caxton by PiP Architecture – this new build is a two-storey barn clad in corrugated metal with aluminium framed openings and striking Corten features
