Interesting day at TMG
I received truly awful news today regarding an old friend and former member of our team.
Clair Coney you were a truly remarkable person.
You made every shift entertaining and never let anyone overstep the mark!
You were always so highly thought of.
I thank you for making my life better for knowing you.
I know heaven will be a better place with you there.
To Grill, my thoughts & prayers are with you.
I can’t imaging what you’re going through right now, just know if you need anything just let me know.
Sending you and the family love and prayers.
Some huge news for us at C I Corporate Security this week.
Our main client has agreed to extend our contract by an extra 2 years.
We only negotiated last year and never thought this would happen.
Thank you to the current team, it’s been incredibly difficult recently and your help has been amazing.
I can guarantee you will like what’s coming!
King Charles III you have our support, your mother, Her Majesty was an amazing Monarch.
At a time when the people of Britain so badly needed their queen the unthinkable has happened.
I have nothing but respect for our longest serving monarch and feel a real sadness with her majesty’s passing.
Now is a time for the country to mourn its greatest servant.
The queen is dead, long live the king.
Rip Elizabeth & thank you
The best Xmas present ever! It’s only for today, but what a difference 3 weeks make.
Home for Christmas Day.
Although we will be back to St Georges tonight we can enjoy a strange Christmas Day together.
Thank you to everyone that’s been in touch with positive messages over the last 2 months.
Merry Christmas everyone
A little update for all the kind people that have sent my family nice messages.
My son is still in the PICU and still in a very unsure place.
Although no longer in an induced coma he is still relying on oxygen via a nose mask.
His lungs are weak and he can’t cough without assistance, he also still has a feeding tube attached as he can’t swallow at this moment in time.
This means any fluid he brings up and there is lots requires us to suction it out of his mouth or a nurse to suction it out from his throat.
Whilst being in PICU he has crashed once which scared us beyond anything I’ve ever experienced before.
Today we were told he has a slightly collapsed lung but hopefully it will repair itself with a little bit of physio.
The diagnosis so far is Guillain-Barré syndrome which attacks the nervous system shutting down feeling in your feet and slowly moving up the body until your lungs are effected and you can no longer breath without assistance.
I hope we caught it in time and eventually we get to leave hospital and gradually return to normal.
Whilst we have no guarantee of this we are very positive because this week my son became my hero and showed me just how strong he is.
My wife and 3 other children have been my rock since the 4th November and I hope I’ve been there for them too.
During this time I’ve learnt to listen to my kids even more than before, what appeared just to be a chest infection turned out to be a life endangering / changing condition, thank god the ambulance crew and Kingston hospital took us seriously unlike our doctors surgery who wouldn’t see him because he had Covid symptoms! So far 3 negative PCR tests prove them so wrong.
Please trust your children and do the right thing by them.
Hug them and love them like never before in these crazy times.
Also a huge thank you to everyone for the kind messages of support, it’s been amazing to know how much he is cared for.
As I sit in intensive care watching my son being looked after by some amazing doctors and nurses, I wonder about my family / work balance and that of my staff.
I expect a lot from myself my family and my staff but I also encourage them to be there for their families and not over do work hours.
I’d like to thank my staff for their help, support and kind words.
Life can be hard sometimes and it’s important to know when and how to move forward.
I have battled my inner demons for 6 years now and just started to see progress with my battle against depression when we end up in the ICU moving from one hospital to the next. Fortunately each team has been amazing and both jemaima and I are very grateful.
This is not a post to boost the company profile or a cry for help it’s to remind everyone spend time with your families and not your phone! Don’t do too many hours at work and hold your kids and partners tight and never let them go.
What an incredible effort this was.
Thanks to these three amazing people we managed to raise a fantastic sum of money for two very worthy causes.
Good times.
I can’t explain just how proud I am of these 3 marvellous people. The effort, time and dedication to raise money for Alzheimer’s society & ABF The Soldiers Charity today was amazing.
To jemaima for baking all through the night after a full days work, Stewart for encouraging people to part with their money with a smile & Oana for giving up her day.
I’m pretty sure after today’s fantastic effort we are very close to our £3k target.
Figure to be announced very soon.
Thank you also to The Telegraph for allowing us to use their offices today.
We are currently looking for a site supervisor to work in a central London site.
The role covers reception / security responsibilities as well as organising a small day and night team.
Whilst this is a self employed roll requiring a UTR number the pay is very competitive along with various bonuses and holiday pay.
