We had a great time at the Creativepool Awards, where we won both the People’s Choice and Silver awards for Jo Malone London ‘Imaginations Run Wild’ in the Music & Sound category!
We provided music supervision and licensing for Emma Dalzell-Khan’s visually sumptuous film, utilising the strings, minimal beats and harp-like arpeggios of French composer Chapelier Fou’s track ‘Temps Utile’ to augment the fantasy-like atmosphere - watch the film here: https://dolceldn.com/project/jo-malone/

A new book featuring over 150 rarely-seen photos of the early ‘80s New York hip hop scene offers a fascinating insight into the emerging cultural phenomenon. ‘Yo! The Early Days of Hip-Hop 1982-1984’ by photographer Sophie Bramly, and published by Soul Jazz Books, includes intimate photos of rising stars Fab Five Freddy, Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash and the Beastie Boys, as well as artists Keith Haring and Futura, and dance groups including Rock Steady Crew.
