Whilst Chris Boardman enjoyed riding along the Avenue Verte on day seven, UK Sport's Katherine Grainger reflected on how Pedal for Paris is shining a light on some of sports' inspirational and innovative organisations.
Over 160 clubs and organisations from across the sport and physical activity sector have already committed to becoming greener by signing our Going For Green pledge.

Rewind to day 1 βͺ
We visited BMC to learn more about The Climate Project and how it helps to protect our important moorland landscapes, which play a vital role for biodiversity and contribute toward the fight against climate change.
And that's full-time on day six of Pedal for Paris! π₯
Chris Boardman visited Lewes FC to take a closer look at the measures they've been implementing in order to play their part in making football a more sustainable sport for many years to come.
Being environmentally sustainable has brought joy to the club and the wider community at Lewes FC π₯°
Like their community garden, an initiative now run by the community. They volunteer to grow food for all, but also help others to 'grow, cook, eat and compost.' π±
Day five of Pedal for Paris draws to a close! π π²
Chris Boardman was joined by Steve Backshall and UK Sport's Dame Katherine Grainger. Up for discussion was how sport must use its unique platform and lead the change as our changing climate is already impacting our opportunities, motivation, and ability to be active.

Along the ride, they have been presented with medals that are made of an eco-friendly paper that is 100% biodegradable, studded with wildflower seeds.
