Onw of my favourtie colours!!! It works so warm amd cool undertone!

Burgundy is having a real moment; from bags to shoes, pops of the colour to top to toe.

It sits in the medium to deep range of colours, so anyone with a lighter look may find it too strong when worn next to the face.

Burgundy works really well with both warm and cool shades eg. lime and hot pink. In fact, you can treat it as a neutral as it works with lots of different colours.

Don’t get too hung up on shades - we’re likely to see earthier tones and pinky-purple tones. Choose the one that is flattering on you.

The rising of the moon on the eve of the solstice.
We are in a portal of strong energy not only signifying the changes of seasons but also on the heel of a significant and strong full moon in Capricorn June 22 2024 Uk - 02:07 BST
immediately after the solstice the moon enters cancer making it a new moon and a new month of energies will being asked to reflect and observe where our life needs more care congruency and awareness.
Recognising where we’ve got choices, what we’re choosing and where we’re not stepping into our power and making choices that support ourselves.
It’s a powerful time to be reparenting yourself instead of judging, criticising and blaming.
We see this all around daily on the news things we can’t control or so we think.
This makes us victimised to the circumstances outside of us rather than tending to a hearts and minds.
It is also a time of expanding our ability to have compassion tolerance and forbearance.
The full moon will highlight what things and structures strong held beliefs need to go. Perhaps you are still holding to the idea that you need to have a certain job or person in your life to feel safe and secure.
This is a good week to really observe yourself and those nearest and dearest and see we can offer more a positive expression instead of criticising blaming and then expanding our tolerance.
Of course this has not mean you put up with S**t, but make sure that you’re looking at yourself first before you abdicate any blame and accusations.
The energy will be intense and a lot of people are feeling it physically emotionally and on level that we can’t quite put a finger on.
Ask yourself, what am I feeling and if there is anything I can do to make a different choice about my experience.
Be kind to yourself, clean up any negative thinking and negative behaviours that sabotage your mind.
There’s a lot of negativity out there and it’s important not to get hijacked by the collective thinking and the manipulation of the media.
Put away your phones and go out into nature and give thanks for all that you have all thatyou’re becoming.

Do you make considered purchases when buying clothes? What we mean is, do you really look at an item and ask yourself if it is the right style, the right fit and appropriate for your lifestyle? This is especially important when you are buying online. Clothing returns alone are responsible for releasing the same emissions as 3 million cars in the US!!

During a style consultation, we teach you how to find clothes that tick all the boxes - it makes shopping so much easier because you are cutting through the noise.

Here’s a list (although not comprehensive) of things to consider if you’re doing a bit of online shopping this weekend:

1) Neckline - there’s little point in ordering a high neck if you have a large bust because chances are it won’t suit. Go through your wardrobe and identify the necklines that you know will work and stick to the brief.

2) Shoulder detail - smaller shoulders will benefit from ruffles and puffs. Wider shoulders will just look wider!

3) Sleeve length - avoid the sleeve finishing at the same level as a larger bust - it draws attention. Cap sleeves work really well on triangles as they balance the hips.

4) Waist - a really big consideration! If you carry weight in this area, avoid voluminous styles especially if belted. Hourglass figures should look for styles that show off their waist.

5) Print - consider the size of the print and make sure it is in proportion to your own frame.

6) Length - check the height of the model and work out where the length will be on you.

7) Style - a frilly, floaty wrap dress may look fabulous, but if you have a rectangular figure, it may not work for you. Know what styles work and stick to them.

8) Colour - you may find the most fabulous item of clothing that fits like a glove, but if it is the wrong colour, it will never be perfect!

9) Personality - consider your style personality (and lifestyle). You may love the look of the model in a tight shift dress and matching jacket, but in real life is this really you?

TikTok is awash with people putting their head through seasonal filters, attempting to analyse their undertone with a white piece of paper, and draping themselves with colourful tea towels.

Of course, the best way to be analysed is with a professional who has the correct tools. Our tonal system is the most accurate, as it is takes into account all skin tones. You won’t find us crossing out colours in your ’personalised’ wallet. Every colour looks 100% fabulous on you (of course you may not like every colour, but that’s a different story 😉).

Pistachio or Mint?! Which one would you choose ?

We’re seeing pistachio everywhere right now, but it can be an awkward colour to wear for some.

If you have a warm skin tone, then it’s likely that pistachio will work for you providing you stick to a few guidelines. Those with a more delicate look such as blondes and light brown hair can wear pistachio as a neutral and have fun combining with other colours from your palette. If you have a stronger look (dark hair or vivid red heads), you may find that pistachio on its own lacks something. Depth! So, combine with deeper shades from your palette to balance out your look.

Anyone with a cool undertone will no doubt struggle with the yellow undertone in pistachio. But don’t despair, mint is a great alternative. The freshness of this colour will lighten and brighten your skin tone. Of course the same rules above apply!

A very flattering trend coming your way: draping and ruching! When used carefully, it can hide many sins as well as enhance your style!

Ruching and draping are tipped to be big next season. We’re telling you now in case you’re about to hit the sales. There are bargains to be had (if you shop wisely). Of course you may own something already - lucky you! Think about how you will wear it, to bring it bang up to date.

This trend doesn’t have to be saved just for clothes. Ruched detailing on bags and shoes work really well too, and can be worn with multiple outfits in your wardrobe.

Draping across the tummy can be flattering providing there isn’t too much bulk, but make sure it isn’t pulling (try sizing up). Ruched sleeves are fantastic for building up the shoulder area and balancing out wider hips. But stay clear of detail in this area if you already have wide shoulders.
