Hackney Pride 365 festival celebrates the borough’s historic, diverse and boundary-breaking LGBTQI
The Hackney Pride 365 festival runs all year round, with community-led events that include everything from gardening clubs to club nights at some of Hackney’s most well-loved venues and outdoor spaces. Previous projects include galas, picnics, fashion shows, film screenings, history walks, festivals and a carnival sound system. Hackney Pride 365 also aims to be a call to action, bringing together

After a sell-out 2022 season, Clod Ensemble's 'Reboot: Behind the Scenes, Screen and Lens' is back with a brand new series of workshops for women, trans and non-binary individuals interested in backstage and production roles.
In collaboration with PeTok_Productions, this season features six workshops facilitated by industry professionals designed to support early arts workers from all backgrounds.
Whether you're already considering a role in these fields or simply curious about the world of production, 'Reboot: Behind the Scenes, Screen and Lens' is for you.
Petok Productions aims to diversify the production industry and pave the way for under-represented communities to build careers in backstage roles. This programme is therefore offered exclusively to people who identify as women, trans and non-binary.

⭐Don’t miss Hackney’s final 2022 LGBT+ History Month event!⭐
End the season by Joining Richard and kieran kirkwood for an insightful talk on the activism and human rights movements that have taken place in Hackney from the 60s onwards. Richard Kirkwood participated in many of these movements. Kieran Kirkwood has built upon their’s father’s work as an organiser for London’s Renters Union, climate activists Wretched of the Earth, and saving culture movement Save Ridley Road.
You will also join the conversation about the link between Hackney’s radical history & politics and the diverse communities that make it their home. Additionally, Kieran will reflect on their experience as a q***r and social activist to examine the culture and nightlife of q***r communities operating in Hackney today.

Hackney Archivist Hannah came across a photograph of the original cast of Jackie Kay’s Chiaroscuro in the Hackney Archives collections. The play performed by the theatre of Black Women explored homophobia, identity, and feminism. The play came to light while Hannah was reading about alternative theatre on Unfinished Histories of alternative theatre ✊🏿 🌈 👭🏾
