Last night we had the honour of attending a celebratory dinner at the historic Trinity House in London in aid of Wetwheels Foundation. Together we celebrated Geoff Holt MBE’s recent Finishing the Dream challenge, circumnavigating the UK by boat. Quadriplegic Geoff shared his experiences and why access to the magic and beauty of the open water is so important for everyone. He is a truly remarkable man.

One of the UK’s leading national dance organisations, DanceEast has launched an ambitious new fundraising strategy for 2024-29, which outlines a mixed-income approach to growing contributed income, including the launch of a major new initiative to establish a flexible endowment, future-proofing the organisation’s finances and to provide a level of independence.
They are currently looking for an experienced Development Manager with demonstrable success in raising funds from various sources, inviting applications by noon on Tuesday 9th July. Having secured over £1.3 million in support and funding for almost 100 scholars, Ben Morton Wright, member of Goldsmiths, University of London Governing Council and our founder and CEO, was honoured to celebrate the first graduating class of the Goldsmiths Equity Awards earlier this week.

This brilliant, life-changing program is a true pioneer, serving as a case study for success! Congratulations to all the recipients, especially the graduates. The aim is to expand this program to a £3 million fund, providing many more scholarships in the future.
