The Ecology Centre at Holland Park runs a series of events, fun activities and education sessions on wide range of topics.
We also strive to enhance the biodiversity and habitats of Kensington and Chelsea.

The RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch is coming up soon on 26-28 January. It's a great way to have fun identifying local birds and help build a picture of the state of our birdlife. No garden necessary!

Autumnal Walk and Write Workshop for Adults
Friday, 3 November at 10am
Join us for a grounding autumnal walk and write workshop within the peaceful surroundings of the Holland Park Wildlife Area. This workshop will start with a stroll through the woods with regular stops to listen to the sounds of nature and nature poetry. We will use our senses to connect to nature, draw inspiration from it, then gather ideas, colours, emotions, and descriptions to create our own written piece.

Bird Ringing Demonstration
Saturday 30 September, drop-in 7 to 11am in Holland Park Wildlife Area
Learn how bird ringing aids conservation and our knowledge of birds’ migratory patterns. This practice causes no harm to the birds but is an amazing opportunity to see wild birds at close quarters.
Join us on Saturday 30 September for our free Wildlife Area Open Day, 12-4pm. Drop-in to explore the wooded enclosure with a seasonal nature trail and take part in an autumnal craft activity.
On this day 10 years ago we officially opened the new, purpose-built Holland Park Ecology Centre. Since then the service has continued to grow and seen more than 94,000 people attend our education sessions, events, holiday activities and conservation workdays. We look forward to the next 10 years of helping people connect with nature.
