Growing up in East Ham with the furnaces at Beckton Gasworks opening at night, Peter Wright was lulled to sleep as a child by the idea that it was the dragons coming out at night and turning the sky red, bathing his room in fiery light.

Ever since then his obsession has manifested in his work, exploring world myths and cultures surrounding dragons using an array of different mediums.

The exhibition will be open every Tuesday and Thursday in October from 2-6pm, starting from next Tuesday!

We will also host an evening event on Sunday the 8th of October. Pete will be doing a talk at 6pm at this event and we will have a workshop so that people can make artwork in response to his work!

A Poem for Today

They are the ministry of truth.
The sense of 1984
Sense not common!
Amoung those of the inteligent.
The words of elites and the security services.
the politically correction!
The illuminate mafia?
Of the thesasuarus they never read.
Yes is no. No is yes.
We know what you should think.
How you should express.
The Internet, no longer the world of freedom it actually was.
Now tamed and caged for profit.
An Musk!
Trys the heroic stance for free speach.
Outing FBI and CIA plants in twitter sphear.
Their wrath at such freedom seen
Begins the fight to take him down.
All the while the toxic cloud of chemical spill.
Yet spreads an no word is said or help given.
