It’s Vacherin Mont d’Or season, and we have some in the deli now.

It’s washed for about three weeks then wrapped in spruce bark and crammed into a box that creates the ripples top. Aged for a further two to three weeks when natural moulds form and it’s velvety appearance develops. It’s rich and voluptuous. Bake it in the oven or simply spoon it out.

It’s lovely Tilly’s last day with us today 🥲. But look at what she surprised me with! Now I know why she has been so fervently snapping our four legged friends when they come to RJ! Can you see your pooch? Such a lovely present, thank you! Tilly’s leaves us to travel around Argentina & Chile before getting on with her career in the arts. Bon voyage Tilly! 👋🛫🛳️

Somebody thinks it’s okay to go on holiday for a week, so apart from Saturday and Sunday we will be closing at 4pm till the middle of next week. Apologies for any inconvenience but the boss so needs a break and cannot wait to hop on the Eurostar tomorrow then dip his toes in the warm sea… ❤️❤️🌊🌅

Ruth is leaving us today 😭😢🥺😩. After 10 years of being at the heart of our team, Ruth is embarking on a new adventure and is moving to a record label in Shoreditch to manage their office. Before joining Romeo Jones, Ruth spent time working in the music industry both behind the scenes and in front of the camera!
We will miss her terribly; creative, funny, tenacious and loyal. Thank you for your hard work and best of luck for the future. There will be a farewell drinks in the Dog in a days days time - we will keep you posted.

Our pizza picnic in the park ended up inside because thankfully it rained! Lovely to have the team all in one place at the same time enjoying lots of wine and lovely food.
