This summer, we’re collaborating with interior designer, content creator and the founder of Lone Fox Home, Drew Michael Scott, for a pop up featuring his curation of one-of-a-kind vintage décor at our Soho Home Studio in Melrose, Los Angeles.

Launching this weekend, the exclusive collection will be for sale at our Melrose Studio in LA throughout the month of August.

House inspired: Soho Roc House

Perched above a rocky stretch of Cycladic coastline is Soho Roc House, a relaxed beach retreat with views of the Aegean Sea.

The design takes inspiration from laid-back island life in Mykonos, with light, warm tones and natural textures such as linen fabrics, jute rugs, cane furniture, and bespoke ceramic lamps.

Interior Spotlight: Holloway House
 
The interior design of Holloway House is a tribute to 1960s California - a period when a host of artists such as David Hockney and Bruce Neumann made Los Angeles their home, drawn to the city by its light and inspiring landscapes. Mid-century-inspired decor typical of this time is seen throughout the House, such as the vertical wooden wall panelling in the club, which grounds the space and provides contrast to the green-toned terrazzo flooring.

Design details

Inspired by the minimalist 1970s style of Soho House Stockholm, introducing the Aline Serpentine Modular Sofa. 

As seen in the House, this piece allows for true modular flexibility with three modules in a curved shape to help bring people together and to recreate the relaxed, sociable atmosphere.

'Taking its design cues from the minimalist 1970s look, the sofa was adapted from the House piece to suit the needs of a more residential environment. We increased the footprint of the retail three-piece to allow for truer modular flexibility.’ James Patmore, Design Director, Soho Home

How the first day of 2023 was spent

Bring the bar home this new year and recreate one of our favourite House cocktails tonight - the Bramble.

Served in our iconic Barwell cut-crystal glassware - find the recipe below

Ingredients
1.75oz/ 40ml Bombay Sapphire gin25oz/ 10ml Creme de Mure 75oz/ 20ml lemon juice 5oz/ 15ml simple syrup
3 raspberries on a pick

Method
Build all of the ingredients in a rocks glass (except the Creme de Mure), then top with crushed ice. Lightly churn or swizzle all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and cap with more crushed ice. Leave room at the top of your glass and drizzle the Creme de Mure.

Be careful not to over-pour as this will make the drink too sweet. Garnish with three raspberries on a pick.

'It's the oldest trick in the design book, but it's one of my favourites because it really does work. A strategically positioned throw can change the overall feel of a room because of the way we are instinctively drawn towards warm, cosy textures when in hibernation mode.

My go-to is the Maria Alpaca Throw, which comes in seven colours. As it's 100% alpaca wool it's impossibly soft and is inspired by many of the throws used around Soho Farmhouse. And, you can have it monogrammed for a personal touch.' - Jessica Sims-Wilson, Soho Home Lead Designer
