French All Day Café Colbert is a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Chelsea
Take a seat at our cosy neighbourhood bar.
The colours of autumn. Have you sampled our new winter menus?
We’re proud to be longstanding members of the Chelsea community, so we thought we’d share some of our favourite neighbourhood gems with you all. Let us know which ones you’re planning on visiting next time you dine with us at Colbert.
1. The Saatchi Gallery never disappoints, why not book ahead for their winter programme; we have our eyes on the ‘As We Rise: Photography from the Black Atlantic’ exhibition.
2. Over at Cadogan Hall, you can feast on live jazz, comedy, orchestral scores and much more.
3. A pure oasis in the city, Chelsea Physic Garden is simply stunning – and also boasts a beautiful café that’s well worth a visit
4. And lastly the iconic King’s Road, once the centre of the punk movement, is now home to some of the best shopping our city has to offer. One of our favourites: Jeroboam’s, for stocking up on great wines.
Blue skies and crisp autumn air. It’s the perfect day, here in Chelsea. 🍂
Lunches at the bar
Paris-Breast, the dessert was invented in 1910 by the pastry chef Louis Durand, and named for a bike race that runs between Paris and the port city of Brest, in northwest France. Our is served with praline cream.
Sicilian-born Daniele has three decades’ experience under his belt working in hospitality. He settled in London twenty years ago, joining The Wolseley as Breakfast Manager in 2008. More recently, he headed up Café Wolseley’s opening team in Bangkok and has now returned to neighbourhood favourite Colbert. To find out more about him and his experience in hospitality click on the link in our bio.
