💥 Rioja Reserva Tondonia Tinto Lopez de Heredia 2011 -  now only £42.25 😍

This is a classic Rioja that has a wonderful ‘Tondonia’ character of rich, red and black fruit mixed with leather and cured jamon. Even in the aromas, the freshness emanating from the wine is clear, complemented perfectly by musky, scented notes of pot pourri and incense. The palate is fine and fresh with a lovely core of redcurrant and raspberry fruit.

💥 Rioja Reserva Vina Bosconia Lopez de Heredia 2011 -  now only £31.45 😍

An iconic producer and his Rioja never fails to deliver. This wine has evolved perfectly showing a deep ruby colour with shades of orange. Its nose is persistent, full bodied and showing a lot of mature fruit, being dominated by the Tempranillo grape. A big style with a round and velvety smooth body.

The dream roast beef Sunday lunch accompaniment!

Rioja Reserva Marques de Murrieta 2018 -  now only £26.05 😍

Established in 1852, Murrieta is one of the oldest and most respected bodegas in Rioja Alta. This is benchmark Rioja and a long standing customer favourite.

The delicious Reserva is a blend of 84% Tempranillo, 9% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo and 2% Garnacha. It spends 19 months in American oak barrels, giving it a complex and elegant character. The aroma is rich and fruity, with hints of plum, cherry, berry, liquorice and balsamic. The palate is smooth and balanced, with soft tannins and crisp acidity. The finish is long and mineral, with touches of sweet spice and ripe plum.

This wine goes well with lamb and beef in particular but works well with all stronger flavoured dishes.

Rafael Palacios Louro de Bolo Godello Galicia 2022 - now only £24.75 😍

Godello grows in Galicia in Northwest Spain, just inland from Albarino. It produces a dry white with tremendous elegance and delicacy, without being neutral. I like to think of it as the point where chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc meet, in terms of flavour and structure and our Louro is a brilliant example. It's fresh, but lacy, like a fresh clean tutu.
