This time last week our CEO, Chris Boyd, had the honour of attending Solent University's graduation ceremony. It was a fantastic day celebrating the achievements of the talented graduates.
Chris enjoyed insightful conversations with Prof. Giles Barkley and Dr. Vittorio Boccolini. A special highlight of the day was presenting the RINA Student Naval Architect Award to Moritz Ehret for his exceptional project, "Design of a 24 Meter Crossover Yacht with a Large Beach Club."

About the award
The medal is for an individual or a small team from the Armed Forces or MOD for achievement in engineering and technical advancement in support of the development and use of capability to support military operations/readiness. Complete the nomination form by telling us about the situation, giving specific examples for each of the criteria:

The medal dates back to 1952 when Sir Winston Churchill gave his name to the award to recognise engineering contributions during World War II. Medal recipients and finalists have left an indelible mark in their respective domains and enriched the entire engineering world.
