A word of wisdom from the Ecole Chocolat

This post was inspired by our Jessica at Bliss Chocolatier 🥰

Jessica recently posted about the struggle of managing her business, her family & life (while painting molds at 1am), always feeling like she never has enough time to get everything done. The best laid plans in one aspect of life constantly being upended by the unexpected in another.

To our chocolate community, this is such a crazy time of year. We all cheer when chocolate season comes around again - more occasions for us to sell our products, cooler weather for shipping (in some parts of the world), and the frenzy that comes along with it all.

But let this be your reminder - you can do anything but not everything. ♥️

Make peace with the fact that you will probably never cross everything off your to do list. It was probably overly ambitious to begin with, & we are always hardest on ourselves.

Remember that you can only control what you can control, & put the rest aside.

Remember that you have to make time to eat, sleep, hug your family, your dog, or your cat. Yes this is our season, & it’s so important to our bottom line. But we have to be kind to ourselves in the process. We have all been through a lot the past two years & the challenges continue. Remind yourself that you are doing your best, & that’s pretty fabulous in our books.

And always remember, we are here if you need us with advice, or even just a friendly ear. We’re never more than an email or a phone call away. You’ve got this 🙌♥️🙌
