🏆 In 2022, Finn earned an Olivier Award for his work as Puppet Co-Designer on Life of Pi and received a nomination for Best Theatre Choreographer for the same production. His impressive portfolio includes roles as puppetry director and co-designer on shows such as The Lorax (Old Vic), Ocean at the End of the Lane (National Theatre and West End), and Grinning Man (Bristol Old Vic and West End).

Can you teach someone to stay alive? In an alternate-reality Britain where guns are carried legally, where school shootings and lockdown drills are a fact of life, sixth-form teacher Victoria revisits three days from her past in a desperate attempt to teach her students how to survive in an active-shooter situation. From schoolyard squabbles to an impending wedding to a not-so-peaceful protest, Victoria must face how these three days defined her relationship to gun violence—and what she is going to do about it now.

🎨 A Designer’s Process 🎨 Join multi-award winning stage and costume designer, Anna Fleischle, for a design Masterclass. LW Theatres and Masterclass are on the lookout for a Backstage Theatre Intern! You will be working full time at The London Palladium for six weeks, mentored by the backstage teams, and receiving support from Masterclass. During this internship you will observe and practise skills needed to pursue a career backstage in theatre. You will gain insight into many roles backstage, from carpentry to lighting, sound to automation, with the opportunity to learn about career options from a range of people already in the theatre industry. You will also receive a workplace reference for future employment.

In pastoral England, a grieving father gives his daughter a birthday present. Centuries later, she is all grown-up and desires something of her own. Something so she doesn't feel alone. And maybe this is how the world ends...
Getting Closer is a poetic new play about the beginning, the end, myths, mistakes, and living under the spectre of the climate crisis.

This year at Latitude Festival (25-28 July), Masterclass will be taking over a Shed in the Faraway Forest💜 We'll be running fun workshops to inspire young people to express themselves creatively and consider a career in theatre. We are looking for a handful for creatives to host hour-long workshops, daily, over the weekend, introducing young people to specific aspects of theatre - from clowning to scriptwriting, devising to design, we're open to your ideas! The only 'rule' is that workshops must be sustainable. If you're using physical resources, they must fit with the green ethos of the festival. For example, making masks from recycled materials, making flower headdresses from natural materials, etc 🌳🍃
You must be available from 25 - 28 July, be able to get yourself to and from the Latitude Festival, and bring your own camping equipment for the weekend 🏕️

Masterclass, on behalf of Sonia Friedman Productions, are seeking applications for a Production Intern to work across multiple productions during their busiest periods. This 6 month internship is an exciting development opportunity for someone who wishes to gain practical experience and knowledge of working in production on commercial shows, as well as learning more about commercial production and the industry. This internship is intended to facilitate access to the commercial theatre industry for those candidates who have not previously had opportunities for involvement.

🪄Making Visible The Invisible🪄
Join award-winning theatre director, Max Webster, for this directing and acting Masterclass! This session will focus on the skills of making visible the invisible, starting with a discussion on the way in which theatre, as an act of collective imagination, can help us explicitly see things that are normally only suggested. Together, you'll examine what this means, and how theatre can be a space in which seemingly ungraspable ideas can be given concrete life. Max will be taking specific examples from his recent production of Macbeth at the Donmar Warehouse 🎭
