Through our 'Coffee for Causes' range we are helping support a number of sport related projects:
Be it the 'Off the Streets' bike racing, the 'HEJ FC' grassroots football, or running marathons to fundraise for 'Autistica', we are really happy and proud to assist in organising and promote these initiatives.

Today we will be at Giffard Park Primary School in Milton Keynes, to support the 'HEJ FC' on their first football tournament!
We are expecting over 700 guests, eager to celebrate youth football and enjoy a beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon!

We have a new special edition coffee straight out of the roaster!
To celebrate the upcoming 4th edition of the race, we are releasing the 'OTS4 Brazil Verde', an amazing coffee with notes of stone fruits, caramel and biscuit, with a light body and refreshing finish.
Particularly good for cold brew, this coffee is also recommended for pour over or cafetiΓ©re.
This coffee was produced by , a Brazilian producer we are very proud to work with. They are the first producer in the world to receive certification on regenerative coffee farming, ensuring their care for the environment of the region!

Last Thursday we hosted the HEJ x Restaurant Associates Barista Championship 2022 Summer Edition!
Our amazing judges appraised the participants in sensory skills, cold brew recipes and latte art with Rebel Mylk!
It was a great afternoon with good food, craft beer, espresso martinis, coffee and big smiles. π
A big thanks to all the people that came by to compete and to support the baristas, and to and for their support!

Hej, we have a new and fun course available at our Barista School!
The Milk Mania course is a two and a half hour session dedicated solely to the development of milk technique and latte art training.
The structure of this course targets the key skills and principles related to using milk to the highest levels of quality. You will learn all the tricks to perform latte art designs consistently, such as a Heart, Tulip and Rosetta.
Whether you are a professional barista hoping to hone your skills (and show off a little), a coffee afficionado looking to improve his homemade flat whites, or you are looking for a fun afternoon of team building for you company, the Milk Mania course is perfect for you!

Our favourite drummer, Elvis has been with us for almost 4 years now, and is moving into a new role within the company from next week (and really happy as you can see).

At the end of today's visit to the Port Lympne Reserve, we had the pleasure to meet this beautiful old lady, who, we were told, could be quite grumpy, but the brief moments that we were there she was super friendly and photogenic! πΈ

is the ambitious initiative of the Aspinall Foundation to return captive-born animals to their ancestral homelands.
In summer, the Aspinall Foundation plan to send a herd of 13 elephants from Howletts Wild Animal Park, their partner sanctuary in Kent, to the wilderness of Kenya, where they can roam free in their ancestral homelands.
They are working together with the Kenyan Wildlife Service to ensure a safe and successful transition in what is the first ever rewilding effort of an entire herd.
For every bag of Elephant and Castle coffee we sell, Β£1 will be donated to the Aspinall Foundation to support their project!

Today we are visiting the Aspinall Foundation, to learn more about their work in animal rewilding and preservation!
We brought gifts of Elephant Beans and fresh orange juice, which you can buy yourself to support them!
Later today we will post some pictures of the amazing animals that they provide sanctuary to, so keep an eye out!
