The Official Queen Mary 2021 Freshers’ events line-up is here! We’ll be hosting some of the biggest, best and most diverse student events in London, and we cannot wait to meet you! From club nights and comedy shows to day trips and speed meeting events – we have got loads planned to make your first few weeks of the year exciting and unforgettable!

2021 sees the return of popular events such as Icebreaker at Ministry of Sound, The Boat Ball, Freshers’ Finale at the Piccadilly Institute and Comedy Central Live nights, as well as some new events like our Thorpe Park day trip – there really is something for everyone!

We know that most of our 2nd year students also missed out on a full Freshers’ experience last year, so now is your chance to have the Freshers you wanted in 2020!

Nominations are now open for the Students' Union Elections 2021! 🗳

There are 6 full-time paid positions (£26,000+) and 70+ part-time voluntary positions available including an International Student Rep, LGBT+ Rep and more. These positions are great for your CV and can help you gain valuable skills, whilst helping us to improve student’s university experience.

Are you interested in helping to shape our commercial services here at Queen Mary? There's a rep for that. In this role, you’ll represent the interests of student staff and of all the members that use the Students’ Union’s bars, shops and other commercial outlets to improve the Students’ Union’s commercial services.

We as a Students’ Union have taken the decision to close all our spaces until further notice due to the Coronavirus outbreak. This includes our shops, bars, cafes, Qmotion Sport & Fitness Centre, the Students’ Union Hub and BLSA. This follows our earlier announcement that all Students’ Union events are postponed and cancelled until further notice. We know this will inconvenience many of you, but the wellbeing of students and staff is our priority.
