Following our Mantra 'to go where few have gone before', FLYING GECKO KITEBOARDING recently took a group of avid kiters on a Gecko's 'Far from the Maddening Crowd' Adventure Holiday. The destination was Adams Bridge, the sandbar causeway between Sri Lanka and India 400km to the north of Colombo.
The setting is a mystical environment known only to a few others than the students of Indian Mythology. Its called RAMA SETU, what we Westerners know as ADAM'S BRIDGE a natural 50 km causeway of sandbars which link the remote Northern tip of Sri Lanka to the Southern tip of India.
It's here, when the Trade Winds blow, the magic happens, butter flat water behind the low walls of golden sandbars, creating the ultimate kite surf paradise. We call it 'The Water of Progression' a pure unspoiled environment - a once in a lifetime find.

Our Flying Gecko Kite Camp in Sri Lanka was fantastic 😃 The wind didn’t disappoint us and we got on the water every day, had loads of fun and met amazing people 😍💨💨 We can’t wait to get back next year again😃
