A reminder to always use sun protection - even in the winter! This client presented with Actinic Keratosis. This is a pre cancerous condition, common later in life,induced by sun damage. I didn’t treat her (electrolysis isn’t always suitable ) but I could advise and direct her to get the right medical treatment. Her skin is much improved after just 4 weeks of topical anti inflammatory creams. Without intervention this could become Squamous Cell Carcinoma ( SCC) Remember your SPF!
