Now that the dust has settled and we have had a chance to count everything, we are delighted to announce that our amazing supporters helped to raise more than £143,000 at the LPFF Gala Dinner at The Savoy on 16th November. Wow! We are so grateful to everyone who pledged, donated or bought a live or silent auction item. Special thanks goes to our incredible MC Martin Bayfield, our auctioneer Charlie Ross, our Made in London Award winner Jason Leonard OBE and Denise and Kalonde from Coppermill Swifts who spoke passionately about how access to one of our pitches has helped turned their daughters’ lives around. But most importantly our thanks goes to all our guests who contributed to raising this fantastic sum. As a result of their outstanding generosity we can continue in our mission of providing a place to play sport forever and creating more active communities.

West Ham: Grassroots club faces eviction over Premier League club's plans 17/10/2023

We fully support Bealonians’ right and fight to stay at Oakfield. At a time when physical activity is at an all-time low it is totally illogical and unfair for Redbridge Council to evict such a large and well-established grassroots sports club from its home. Where are those young people going to play now?

Say hello to Marc Waite, the talent behind keeping our pitches at Boston Manor Playing Field thriving each week. Marc joined as an Assistant Groundsman in 2012 and is now our youngest Head Groundsman.
Marc loves working outdoors (especially in the summer) and takes a particular interest in preparing and maintaining cricket wickets.
Our grounds staff look after our pitches and facilities throughout the year, come rain or shine and without them we wouldn't be able to do what we do - thank you!
