The findings of the newly-published employers for childcare survey have highlighted the difficulties faced by parents and families who are struggling to meet childcare costs.
The DUP's boycott continues to stall the delivery of a new childcare strategy which would support children, families and providers.
The time to restore the Executive is now!

Ireland has lost one of its greatest and most beloved musical icons.
Shane MacGowan was a poet, dreamer and social justice champion. He was a republican and a proud Irish man.
Nobody told the Irish story like shane. He sang to us of dreams and captured stories of emigration, heartache, love and joy.
He found the words and songs to illuminate the rawness of romance and torment, light and shade, despair and hope.
Shane understood the sorrowful and joyful beauty of real life. His genius was that he knew the power of scars, the humanity in falling down. The bravery of getting back up.
Quite simply, he was one of the greatest songwriters of his generation. His music and his poetry will live forever.
My thoughs are with his wife, Victoria, his family and all who loved him. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
'Still, there's a light I hold before me. You're the measure of my dreams..’
Today we remember with great pride Óglach Michael Crossey who died on active service November 22nd 1971

Best wishes to James McClean on his retirement from international football, following an amazing career with over 100 caps.
James has made history as one of the most capped Irish Internationals of all time, and has brought so much joy to homes across the island during his many years in the green jersey.
A tremendous servant to Irish football and the city of Derry. Ádh mór James, Erin and all the family for the future! 👏🏻

We stand in solidarity with their families in their pursuit for justice and truth.
Sinn Féin MLA John O'Dowd has said news that there will be delays in the cervical smear review by the Southern Trust will be devastating for women.
Speaking after hearing the news that the Belfast Trust have had their cytology services temporarily suspended the Upper Bann spokesperson said:
“This news will be devastating for the 17500 women in the Southern Trust awaiting a review of their smear.
“Sinn Féin has asked for an urgent update from the Health Department on the reason for the suspension of services in the Belfast Trust.
“This must be addressed urgently as it is becoming very clear that services for women’s Health across the North is not for purpose.
“HPV testing is due to begin in December, this is the most modern and accurate method of testing for cervical cancer, and should have been in place long ago, however we need reassurance that this will happen, and that all Health Trusts can do this safely.
“We need the Assembly restored now and all parties working together to ensure this is delivered. We also need an Executive restored to deliver a women’s health strategy which begins to address health inequalities facing women today.”
