From a sister to a sister. She wanted to represent her sisters love of the ocean and water. The waves represent the 2 sisters and I really enjoyed making a virgo symbol to add on #♍️

I loved making this wedding ring. I met the couple at a market and finding out they were getting married at the same place as myself and my hubbie got married we had a lovely chat and then Ben decided he wanted to get his wedding band made by me. They wanted a simple band but to have something that linked it to Macclesfield. So as well as making it in Macclesfield we discussed adding trees to represent Macc forest that they love walking in. Thank you Ben and Cathrine for stopping and chatting that day and I wish you all the happiness 💚

Birthday boy has had his ring now so I can show you. Sometimes you start in one direction and then you end up somewhere else. This design was that. So happy with how it turned out. It was a whopper too at size W 🌿

Glow up
All of my designs are having a glow up right now. I have started to look at things differently, these earrings started as a stamped out disc then cut in half. I always found it too easy and too symmetrical. Anyone who knows me know I like a bit of odd. I now hand draw, then saw out each shape by hand which gives a slight difference to each one which makes me happy thinking no matter how many I make each one will be just a little bit unique (swipe to the end for the initial design)

Big or small today on most things in jewellery are small or teeny tiny small, so big to me can mean important. This beauty was the first engagement ring I made, was such I lovely experience to share ideas with the client and bring them to life. White and yellow gold, pink tourmaline, white sapphire and the most stunning aqua marine ✨

Day 9 is trail and error. I tend to design through making so a lot of my working is trails and learning to trust my process. Some days it works really well others it doesn’t. Today was a error day, I just couldn’t get in a flow and nothing was working in the design. Learning to not stress out too much when things don’t go to plan and knowing when to walk away and take a break are skills I have developed over time

Being a creative maker can be a challenge. Balancing finding time and space to develop your style with making to sell to a afford to buy more materials. Finding my style is a journey and I feel like it is always reaching for where I want to be as a jeweller. I have taken the pressure off to jump to the end and I am enjoying the process of creating my designs, where they were, as they are now and how they will develop ✨

Well that was fun. Bowie party at today was awesome. My eldest has been a Bowie fan since he could decide his favourite songs so in his words ‘best day ever!’

These lovely gold and silver earrings are ready for someone’s special Christmas present. I really do love that people are going to be opening (and hopefully loving) things I have made on their Christmas Day 🌲

She said yes!!! 💍 I can now reveal my first official engagement ring. Been sitting on this one for a while waiting for the question to be popped. Couldn’t be happier for the lovely couple 💚 the client was involved with every step, he wanted something unique. He wanted a stone to match her eyes so when I found this stunning aquamarine I couldn’t wait to show him. The pear shaped aquamarine sits in a yellow gold setting next to a pink tourmaline and white sapphire on a white gold triple band ✨

Oooo I love a personal surprise gift. Made this ring using the couples rock they brought home from a holiday. The textures came out really well.

Here is a pair of 9ct recycled gold wedding bands for a gorgeous couples wedding last weekend. I really do love the warmth of yellow gold ✨

Something about me you might not know. I have studied many things on my path. One of the things I loved when I realised I didn’t have to follow the typical education journey, that really wasn’t working for me, was photography. It was film photography with darkrooms and developing and waiting and fu***ng up a film and it being gone or amazing and all that yumminess. Thanks to that I sometimes find myself being distracted by making a whole picture beautiful (or artsy fartsy as my dad would say) rather than just taking a good product shot ✨

Something a little different 🌊 Was asked to make a charm to represent their family for a 70th birthday present to be added to an charm bracelet. Carved this little wave out of wax then cast in silver 🌊

Cute little matching set made today. I usually make the rings on the necklace much bigger but was requested to make a teeny one to make the studs ✨
