Volunteer Opportunity at Maidenhead Cycle Hub: Ride Leaders & Shop Helpers Needed!
Do you love cycling? The Maidenhead Cycle Hub is looking for passionate volunteers to help lead cycle rides!
🚴 Ride Leaders:
Role: Lead group rides for cyclists of all abilities around Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
Skills Needed: Enthusiasm for cycling, knowledge of local routes, and the ability to encourage and support riders.
Why Volunteer?
Make a difference: Help promote cycling in the community and get more people on bikes.
Gain experience: Learn new skills, meet like-minded people, and be part of a vibrant cycling community.
Flexible Hours: We appreciate any time you can give, whether it’s a few hours a month or weekly shifts.

We are happy to let you know we have more newly refurbished bicycles in our Nicholson Centre shop just in time for back to school, university or a commute to a new job.

Our Story
Maidenhead Cycle Hub is a local charity, passionate about cycling and the benefits it brings to individuals, communities and the environment. We aim get more people cycling by providing servicing and repairs, organised rides, advice on bike routes and cycling safety, and selling refurbished bikes. We also provide local young people with the opportunity to gain technical and transferable life skills to build a successful future.
Our workshop:
The Maidenhead Cycle Hub workshop can be found at Waldeck House, Waldeck Rd, Maidenhead SL6 8BR. Here we conduct all our servicing and refurbishing and accept donations.
The workshop is normally open 10am-6pm Tuesday to Friday. This is subject to change when our mechanic is on holiday.

Our shop is run entirely by volunteers and so is only open when we have volunteers available to open it, however we are normally open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings.
