Our Housing Officers and contractors regularly inspect the communal areas in our blocks. In an emergency, clear escape routes are vital for a swift and safe evacuation.
Please ensure that items such as doormats, footwear, pushchairs, plants, and furniture are not left in these shared spaces. Our staff carry out regular inspections to keep these areas clear, but your cooperation is important for us.
If you notice anything that could block an escape route, please report it to your housing officer so we can address it promptly.
We've developed a set of service standards to make sure you know what to expect from us. These are based on your feedback, and we’ll continue to update them according to what matters most to you.
You can also read our Service Standards on our website: https://www.housingsolutions.co.uk/about/service-standards/

Keep all doors locked and store keys and valuables out of sight, avoiding common hiding spots. Don’t leave spare keys outside, as burglars are aware of typical hiding places.

The fastest way to book a repair is online - either through our Customer Portal or the Housing Solutions app.
We're here to help with emergency repairs 24/7, all year round, offering a three-day urgent response service and a four-hour emergency response time.
If you have any concerns, contact us at [email protected], log into our customer portal, or call 01628 543101.
Heavy rainfall is expected over the next few days, so we are likely to receive a high volume of calls.
If your call is not an emergency or urgent, we kindly ask that you wait until conditions have improved before contacting us.
If you are experiencing a power cut that's affecting you and your neighbours, please contact your energy provider directly.
Please try to contain leaks as much as possible. Guttering may leak due to heavy rainfall, but unless it is at risk of falling and causing harm, please delay calling about this. You can report issues using our portal or app, or by emailing [email protected]
We may not be able to attend to repairs at height at this time, as it is not safe for our repair teams to access roofs or use ladders.
For any communal drains that are overflowing, please report them directly to the water board.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Housing Solutions is proud to support Gas Safety Month in September 2024.
It's very important to maintain gas equipment at home. An unsafe gas appliance can lead to gas leaks, carbon monoxide leaks and put you and the others around you in danger.
By law Housing Solutions must repair and maintain gas pipework, flues and appliances and ensure an annual gas safety check is done.
If you smell gas or carbon monoxide, open all doors and windows and call Cadent Gas Emergency on 0800 111 999 immediately.
For any questions about gas safety, contact us at [email protected], log into our customer portal, or call our Contact Centre on 01628 543101.
