Our Story

Lorraine and Eileen established ‘Baillando Dancewear’ in 2002 when they took over the ‘Performance Workout’ dance shop in the Royal Star Arcade in Maidstone. In 2006 we moved across the road to larger premises under The Corn Exchange where we could hold more stock and display many more products than before.

We now supply dance shoes and dance clothes for all dancers - social and professional. Our dancewear range includes leotards, warmup clothing, leggings, tights, skirts, tutus and accessories. Shoes and sandals for all dance genre - ballroom, latin, tap, ballet and more. We count Freed of London, Roch Valley and Capezio dancewear as our main suppliers and also stock some items from Bloch and Tappers & Pointers.

Replacement stock is ordered in every Tuesday morning and the new stock is normally available for collection / delivery the next day. We also provide a free pointe shoe fitting service for our customers. We are happy to take orders and enquiries (and for customers to make appointments) over the phone or through Facebook, our website or email.
