TIME TO CELEBRATE OUR !

Apologies for the late post! We closed early today to travel to the to buy next seasons collections 'Ooop North' and have only just sat down to socials! Let's get cracking!

Katie almost "settled for another dress" before visiting our shop. Her words, not mine but a heartbreaking sentence. NEVER SETTLE LADIES! Having travelled from Essex to see us, Katie finally got the feeling when she tried on her yes dress and just knew. Fortunately, everyone else agreed and the order was placed!

Amy found her dress with us a few weeks ago when shopping with friends, so brought Mum, Dad and MIL back recently for their approval. This dress was made for Amy, nobody could have disagreed!

We met Elizabeth aaaggggeeesss ago, when she loved a dress of ours, but continued shopping and said yes to another elsewhere. Now, with a few months until the wedding, Elizabeth surprised us with a call to say she wanted to get married in the dress of ours that she saw! Within a few days, her order was placed and her dress regret disappeared!

Kimberly visited us during our sale in a stroke of fate. Having been let down by a dressmaker A WEEK BEFORE her wedding, Kimberly needed a dress, and quickly!
Weirdly enough, a dress Kimberly had seen in our shop ages ago, was in the sale in her size and for a bargain price. So Kimberly said yes there and then! Panic over!

Sarah politely declined a photo, but said yes recently to her dream dress for her Cyprus wedding next year! Sarah is a fellow magpie so placed a custom order for a dress that flattered her and was practical for a hot destination, but just needed an extra something! Fortunately, the designer could take care of that and Sarah will be getting her dream dress early next year!

As always, the brides we have helped are all flipping fabulous and we have enjoyed helping every single one!

An elopement in Jamaica...

When Sonika visited us for her appointment, she thought she had already found the one and set us a challenge to beat it.
As soon as she put on the Christina dress by ...let's just say all other dresses didn't exist. The confidence (and waist) this dress gave Sonika was all she needed to know this was one!

And doesn't she look absolutely sensational!?!?

Me and Mrs Harrison eloped to Jamaica and said I do in an intimate ceremony in the most picturesque setting earlier this Summer.....but they only had eyes for each other! 💕

The perfect reminder to us all, that it's all about the love between hubby and wife!

LET'S CELEBRATE OUR GORGEOUS 'S!!!

We have seen a flurry of ladies, all well researched and ready to say their yes's and it's been a genuine pleasure helping them all!

Mell said yes to her stunning dress today! You looked so elegant Mell, a real Princess in the making! And it's all going on for Mell...buying a house and planning a wedding all at the same time, so for her to make not one, but 2 trips to us from over an hour away in just a few weeks, we know this bride just LOVES this dress!

Rosie's accessory might give her dress designer of choice away! And the dresses didn't disappoint! The sparkle and the magic of them met Rosie's expectations and the dress she chose was just made for her. This bride is going to look SENSATIONAL on her big day!

Having tried on at other shops, Charlotte knew which silhouette she preferred...but it was our wildcards that interested Charlotte the most. Then her friends suggested a real wildcard that they felt would bring out Charlotte's personality...and it wasn't long before the happy tears were flowing! Following the heart is always the best choice!

Amy just happened to be visiting Maidstone this week and popped in for a little look at some dresses she had seen online. Amy only tried on a handful of dresses before knowing which dress was for her! And I mean maybe 3 dresses! That's all it takes for happy tears all round sometimes!

Lauren said yes to a dress I have been longing to find it's bride this week! Some dresses just fit and flatter in a certain way that make your heart feel warm when you see it on...but when Lauren wore it, we just knew it was meant for her! Simply beautiful!

Katie ended up with two favourites in her appointment with us...something classic and timeless and another that was more playful and trendy. I'm not saying which dress won, but I will say Katie couldn't have made a bad choice...everything looked great on her!

June was a walk in bride who fell in love with the fourth dress she tried on and nothing else compared. And we tried to beat it, we really did...but when a bride loves a dress, there is no stopping her!

The new Mr and Mrs Double tied the knot in style last month !

The gorgeous , Alice, wore the Pocohontas D285 by ! Our sample of this dress is in the champagne, but Alice took the gamble for her Summer wedding and ivory was her colour choice! We adore that she took the risk...she looks sensational!

A wedding full of love, laughter and good lighting made all the more impressive by !

During the styling appointments, we discuss numerous tweaks we could make to this dress to get it 100% perfect for Lauren. But in the end, all Lauren opted for was an extra bit of sparkle with a belt....and you know we always support more sparkle!

TIME TO CELEBRATE MORE 'S!

This has been such an amazing month for us, where we have had our most successful July EVER! We are on a high at the moment- thank you!

Dana travelled to us from afar for a particular designer (the ears may give it away)! With the support of her guests and trying on a number of gowns, two looked particularly amazing, but one just grabbed her! Dana said yes in her first visit to us and was brave enough to order a different colour to our sample- we can't wait to see it!

Beth is getting married THIS OCTOBER and visited with her beautiful 9 week old son! Her original dress wasn't going to work so we knew we had to find something in our ready to wear selection that Beth would love just as much! Let's just say it didn't take long! 😆 When Beth stood in the dress she said yes to, she lit up! And with it matching all of her accessories, it was the missing piece to her bridal style!

Evie came in with lots of customising ideas, so we needed to find a dress that could accommodate them all! It's quite unusual to have such a daring and creative bride like this, but Amy rose to the challenge! Evie surprised herself by saying yes in her first visit to us, but she could visualise how her ideas could come together with the chosen dress! We definitely can't wait to see the final result!

And we had a great time assisting Lou a couple of weeks ago! She came in with an open mind but still went for a dress that took her by surprise! And we love it when that happens- you have to try on the wildcard when you come in....it could just be the one! Lou's decision was so quick, that we even had time to style up a bridesmaid and find a prom dress for her daughter too!

But that's not all! We have also had Laura find her dream dress in our outlet, Jordan overcame some nerves to thoroughly enjoy her appointment and say yes to a stunner of a dress and we welcomed Amy back who had previously said yes to one dress, but came back to say yes to another!

Like I said, it's been a gooooood month!

SO MANY 'S TO CELEBRATE!

After a super busy few days in the boutique, I have gotten behind with celebrating our gorgeous ladies! I AM SO SORRY!

Courtney was our ideal bride! We were the first and only shop Courtney needed to visit. Entering with an open mind and one or two ideas of what she might like, she trusted the process of elimination and remained focused throughout. And then one dress just made her feel different, special, amazing....bridal! And she said yes there and then! Having visited since to try on bridesmaid dresses, she truly feels like one of our crew now!

Laura, on the other hand, had visited many shops before us, so knew exactly what she was looking for. To the point where Laura only tried on ONE DRESS with us. And it was THE DRESS! Because of the number dresses tried on and this one ticking the boxes, Laura could say a confident yes...no FOMO nonsense, job done!

Kat came in with an idea of what she might like, but the main priority was finding something she felt comfortable in that had straps. Jenna tried on a few styles and it was realised quickly that Kat's idea was the way forward. Many different gowns were tried on, but it was the very last one that Kat said Yes to! And guess what...NO STRAPS. You know when a bride loves a dress when they ask for one thing and leave not needing it!

Elizabeth came to us in the week with just a couple of months until the big day. She had discovered her ideal silhouette, had found a dress she loved but walked away from and came in on a mission! Well, three dresses in and we had a YES! It wasn't what Elizabeth thought she was looking for, but she felt elegant and it was a more practical choice for her day surrounded by her 5 children. 💕

But that's not all!
Amy, Hayley, Tanya, Shatel and Farleigh have all said yes too! Some have opted to have their photos at a later date and others you will just have to wait and see their wedding pics. BUT I can confirm all will look completely and utterly stunning on their big days!

when we first met Gemma and heard of her wedding plans, we knew a dress was for her....but it had to be a really special one!

Gemma and her now husband eloped, with a couple of friends, to a Disney cruise and sailed around the Caribbean where they married on the beach with their ship in the distance!

And then, there was the PHOTOSHOOT! Gemma opted to have a photoshoot in the Magic Kingdom in . Just look at these photos!!!! A dream come true for every Disney bride!

But then we were surprised to hear that Gemma held a second wedding at too! So many of our love this venue for the fairy tale setting it offers.

THREE chances to wear her dress! And talking of the dress, Gemma wore D292 Belle for her weddingS. This was a dress that visited us for one of our trunks shows, so just proves visiting these events are worth it for the extra choice!

LET'S HEAR IT FOR OUR 'S!

We have had some absolute gem's in the boutique lately. We are so blessed to do what we do!

Amy visited us this week having a clear vision of what she wanted in her dress...without having tried on before. Well, let's just say her vision was spot on and she has chosen such a winner of a dress! She knew the minute it was on it was the one! As soon as a veil went on to complete the look, a yes was said!

Gemma said yes today! As we went through Gemma's appointment, quite a few contenders were hitting the favourite rail and they were all by the same designer...so it was clear Gemma had found her style. But when one was pulled off the rail, it intrigued Gemma and she got the feeling as soon as it was on! And what's lovely is Gemma couldn't believe how decisive she could be over it, but she just knew!

Isabelle had an appointment with Amy this week and knew exactly what she wanted! After trying on a few different styles to see what she liked, Isabelle became emotional in just one dress. And then became emotional when it went on the second time. When you form an emotional attachment to a gown, how can it be beaten? Amy said the appointment was wonderful- calm and focused with just Isabelle's Mum offering all the advice she needed.

Shantel had previously visited a good number of shops and knew time was ticking as her wedding is THIS AUGUST! As soon as Amy pulled Shantel's dress off the rail, it was love at first sight! With only 3 dresses tried on, Shantal knew her search was over and she had found the one! And it fit like a glove, which is a bonus when the wedding is so close, so the dress was taken on the same day!

And finally, Lindsey found her dream dress in our ready-to-wear collection. During her appointment, a few dresses ticked Lindsey's boxes, but this one just had something special. After a quick cup of tea away from the boutique, Lindsey said yes to the dress that she couldn't let go of!

An AMAZING group of ladies, all with different styles, weddings and ideas...but they all found the one with us!

Kate is a bride we will never forget! Her attention to detail is on another level, so we just know her December wedding at would have been sheer perfection!

Kate said yes to 'Christina' by . After a lot of back and forth between some dresses, Kate said yes to not only the dress, but a custom change too....and we ADORE the off-shoulder straps Kate designed with our lovely Jane to complete her look!

TIME TO CELEBRATE SOME 'S!

Kicking off the week with a few of the ladies who have said yes with us recently!

Firstly, a special shout out to Sophie who literally travelled across counties to visit us! It's fair to say Sophie came open minded with a small wish list that just had to be tried. But no matter how hard we tried, one just couldn't be beaten! Sophie just knew and it was a heartfelt yes!

Then we have our very own Robyn who said yes to her dress. Ladies, do not get a job in a bridal shop AFTER you have said yes in another shop! The FOMO might just catch up with you. HOWEVER, we can confidently say Robyn has made the right choice, this dress is just her! P.S. You might recognise the gate-crasher in her photo haha!

When we met Katie, she admitted she had tried on too many dresses already, the dress fog was taking over! But Katie hadn't tried on our dresses yet! One captured her heart, but there was a favourite in another shop so we saw Katie a week later for decision time. In the end Katie followed her heart and said yes to a dress that couldn't be more . Great choice Katie!

And finally, we have Lindsey! We were Lindsey's first shop and the appointment ended with two favourite gowns that were very similar. Lindsey's entourage were just as much of a dream to have in store as Lindsey was- we do love a supportive group! After a coffee with friends, all future appointments were cancelled and Lindsey returned to say yes to her dress!

Here are just a few of the wonderful ladies who have said YES to their dresses with us recently!

Anna said yes and became our very first bride...2nd pic is Anna celebrating with some bubbly! We are so thrilled that Anna said yes to this particular dress...it has become one of our favourites in the boutique, it is particularly beautiful!

When a bride visits us without an appointment (a walk in), we just adore it when we have time to see them...and even more when we have the dress of their dreams! This is what happened with the lovely Holly! Don't you think it was destiny Holly?

When Tracy said yes, she came researched and focused. Amy pulled just a few gowns that Tracy wanted to try, but she knew very quickly that one of the 3 she came to us to try on was the dress for her. Tracy needs to be a bridal stylist, as we couldn't have picked a better gown for her twilight 2027 wedding!

We had lots of fun in Katie's appointment. We easily got down to two favourites...and I think we all knew which dress Katie would choose, maybe even before Katie knew. Her face just lit up in that special way when she walked out in it.

Jasmyne travelled a long way to see us last weekend. Her search had led her to the exact dress in the exact colour and we happened to have it. Jasmyne's appointment was another one of those destiny moments, and another quick yes!

When Jen visited us, she was ready to buy. She had been to a good number of shops, knew just what she wanted and was looking to have that special moment in a dress. Special moments are what we do best, so Jenna pulled out a dress that ticked all the boxes and Jen just knew. Tears flowed, everyone agreed. It was magical!

And finally, Anna came to find a dress for her Summer 2024 wedding. There were quite few that could have worked, but the choices were whittled down to two. And they were two very different dresses! So it was a difficult decision, and one that came down to Anna and the style that would fit in with the wedding, but she made the right one!
