I offer MOBILE Personal Training at your home if you can't get to the gym or are gym shy. I am a Level 3 Personal Trainer as well as a level 2 Fitness Trainer. You will find me mostly at JD Gyms in Wythenshawe or at The Forum in Wythenshawe. I also offer a MOBILE Personal Trainer service for those who can't get to the gym or are gym shy. I am friendly, easy to get on with and I have a positive attitude.

What a disaster (for me) when at 7am this morning, I was making my cup of tea and my T Bag Burst. Some will understand that your first brew in the morning is a must.

I had to start the whole brew making process all over again.

I'm over it now but it got me thinking.

For some people, breaking a nail is an absolute disaster but to some, it's like, so what - no big deal.

What I am trying to say is that you have no idea what others are going through in life, such small things can tip you over the edge.

Lets support rather than be critical. None of us are perfect.

Good morning and what a wonderful sunny Sunday.

So, the weekend is nearly over, what have you got planned for the week ahead?

THOUGHT OF THE DAY!

Remember - each time you:

-Leave your dishes out
-Allow the kitchen bin get too full
-Scroll social media for too long
-Let your 5-minute break turn into a 20-minute break
-Skip the gym
-Cheat on your nutrition
-Show up late for something

You are practicing being undisciplined.

You are literally rewiring your brain to get accustomed to choosing immediate comfort and ease instead of choosing to do what needs to be done.

When you practice something, you become good at it. Therefore, if you spend your time repeatedly choosing the easy wrong instead of the hard right, you are practicing being undisciplined.

Result - you will become good at being undisciplined.

I will be posting the times and locations of my popular fitness classes which are MRT based (Metabolic Resistance Training) which is ideal for fat loss.

Classes are nice and quiet now due to school holidays and they are free.

How many of our journeys involve only success and no challenge?

I'll tell you - ZERO of them!

Do you think as a baby you started running from day 1? No - you fell down a hell of a lot, got back up, persevered until one day you walked and then eventually ran.

Do you think amazingly successful people got there by making no mistakes? NO - they made mistakes and learnt from them.

Life is a journey and as long as we learn, we WILL only get stronger.

If you fall, get back up and keep trying until you succeed.

Never Quit.

HISTORY OF TABATA TRAINING

Tabata can be traced back to Japan in the 1990s, where Dr Izumi Tabata and his team of researchers at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo developed a new type of (HIIT) protocol.

They found that short bursts of high-intensity training were better for strengthening muscles and burning fat than more extended periods of moderate-intensity activity.

WHAT IS IT?

Tabata training is a unique form of HIIT training of 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest in a four-round cycle with a 1 minute rest between sets. Each set is 4 minutes plus 1 minute rest.
