We’ve recently completed an apartment fit-out in the Northern Quarter, Manchester.

The studio apartment was stripped back to core elements after the previous tenant left it in poor condition.

Uncovering a generous floor to ceiling of 3.5m, we were able to create a bedroom mezzanine, allowing the main space to be one large living space.

We used one material for all the bespoke furniture and paired this with the red brick wall. Black accents keep the space clean and uncluttered.

The apartment is currently on the market for rent.

Great night at the Awards ceremony last week.

We were delighted to collect two awards; Regional’ and ‘Client of the Year’. A great team effort.

A terrace for tele.

The external terrace at Winter House was used by Channel 4 as the space to announce the winner of the recent Grand Designs, House of the Year.

Large, sliding glazed sections and a lack of any visible structure allow the external terrace and garden to connect seamlessly to the internal spaces; an external room.

Client; ‘it feels like being inside and outside at the same time.’

On this project we specified all furniture, choosing pieces to compliment the interior architecture.

We designed the lighting to pick out the client’s art.

It was a pleasure to meet Kevin McLeod as they filmed at our Winter House for Grand Designs, House of the Year.

Episodes to be aired later this year on Channel 4.

Completed extension project in Chester.

The original house is Grade II Listed and was designed by James Harrison, built in 1850.

We worked with our client who had an unwavering focus and an expert eye for detail - a match made in Chester.

We are delighted that Winter House has won a West Midlands Award.

The building is a 5,500sqft replacement dwelling in a conservation area in Rolleston, and was made possible by a brilliant, trusting client.

We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this year’s RIBA West Midlands Awards.

Remodel and extension in Alderley, Cheshire.

Part of the project involved converting the basement to living spaces.

The existing basement access was dark, steep and narrow, so we created a new stair accessed off the extension. It is now light-filled, social and helps connect the basement to the ground floor spaces.

We’ve recently submitted a planning application for a development of 17 detached houses.

Occupying an existing industrial site, the planners were keen for the development to reference the industrial heritage of the derelict mill buildings.

Winter House has recently won a number of national awards, including Highly Commended at the British Homes Awards in the ‘House of the Year’ category.

Our extension to a Mobberley cottage.

Our clients wanted to replace an existing conservatory with a modern dining extension.

We explored solid and void ratios to create a space that is light-filled throughout the day.
