🌟Ambassador Spotlight🌟
Today we want to recognise the strength and resilience of one of KidsCan's own Amazing Ambassador's, Emma Neal.
Emma joined KidsCan as an ambassador in 2018. Along with her family she is dedicated to raising awareness of KidsCan and the effects of children's cancer and the treatments used.
Since the original diagnosis, a sample of the tumour that was retrieved during the biopsy has been retested in new research and has helped doctors to learn more about the type of tumour Emma was diagnosed with which can be utilised when treating children with a similar diagnosis.
Emma's story highlights the importance of developing new treatments to reduce the risk of long-term side effects. No child should have to live their life in the shadow of cancer!!
Search www.justgiving.com/kidscan to help us fund the development of new treatments that only target the cancer itself.
On Saturday, the KidsCan team were out and about on the road again attending the Wigan Rotary Club community day, held in Wigan Town Centre Wigan Council
