Fantastic game for the under 19’s in the Cheshire Junior Netball League today against Lost 27-21 but really close until the last quarter. A great game played with a perfect balance of good spirit and healthy competitiveness. 👍🏐🔵

Don’t forget, year 6 training is at Parrs Wood tonight 5.30pm - 7.00pm not at Barlow

Year 6 and 7 training venues have changed for the next two weeks. Year 7 Monday training will be at Parrs Wood from 5.45pm-7pm on 4th and 11th Nov and Year 6 Thursday training will be at Parrs Wood from 5.30pm-7pm on 7th and 14th Nov. All other training will remain the same.

Reminder: There is no training tonight but don’t let that stop you practising 😁

The winter season starts tonight with our older girls’ teams the Seals, Sharks and Starfish in action at Reddish. Good luck girls 🤞

Reminder to all players and parents that there is training as normal this week (21st and 24th) but there will be no training next week (28th and 31st).

We had a 25-25 thriller tonight as the Didsbury Rays played the Didsbury Whales. A fantastic game. Also it was the final game for the Mermaids 😢. Good luck to the girls as they join their new teams for the winter season.

Congratulations to Jess and Iris from our year 12 team who qualified as Level 1 coaches today! Well done girls, everyone else will have to pay attention to you now 😁

Brilliant to see our older girls playing in the Stockport Ladies league tonight. Thanks to their fantastic ongoing commitment we are able to enter three teams into the winter league. Good luck girls 😁👍

‪Our Sharks and Seals teams were in action at Reddish last night. A massive well done to those playing for the first time in the Ladies League. 👏‬

Reminder: No Y6 training at Barlow tonight due to the schools open evening. See you all on 3rd October. Don’t let it stop you practising at home though 😁

Year 7, 8, 9 and 11 final Thursday training session will all take place tomorrow (11th July) at Parrs Wood Sports Hall. There will be no training at Barlow.

Congratulations to all our trophy winners at the presentation evening on Friday. Those who would like their trophies to be re-engraved should return their trophies at training or directly to either Bernadette or Peter by the end of this week (Friday 12th July).

What a great night celebrating all the girls in our 15 teams from year 3 to year 13 and the fantastic coaches and leaders who provide the amazing support to make all our netball possible.

Thank you also to all the parents who give up so much of their time ferrying the girls to training and matches each week and for your support and commitment to the club.

A final thank you to Debbie and Peter for being the heartbeat of the club. Whilst they haven’t got a photo of their own in this collection you can see them in the background of most of the pictures, typically getting on with the business while the girls take the limelight.

Looking forward to tonight’s annual Didsbury Netball Presentation evening to celebrate a year of great netball & superb teamwork. It’s a ticket only affair but there are still some available on the door if you haven’t got yours. 7pm at St Catherine’s on School Lane
