What a top week! In reverse order - lush husky, Settiquette last night was a bunch of fun, with special guest was a great themed art and music night, really looking forwards to the reggae/dub night this Thursday (www.settart.com for tickets), another lush lil pup and our Happy Hour sign was returned without damage! Oh and last weekend was amazing, respect to and for putting on such a top happening, will do a post soon once we can credit alla the amazing artists soon! October is shaping up to be busy with refurb stuff and further arty goings on in the pipeline so stay posted!

Tonight’s the night! This month’s Settiquette has a very tasty line up of dj’s playing party bangers for you this evening - Resident Badgers will be warming the decks up with some groovy tunes from 7 and then we are lucky enough to have () and the most awesome as special guest DJ’s serving up party bangers later on!

We are visiting to check out the street art festival organised by GRIT Studios X tomorrow from 12-5! The Odd Squad will be meeting at Sett for toasties and coffee from 11am, so if anyone wants to join us you are welcome.

Anyway, have got some world class artists beautifying the streets, as well as loads of art activities, street food and ace dj’s so, seeing we will be closed during the day, you should definitely get involved before maybe coming for a cheeky unofficial after party at Sett!

On Saturday we are delighted to have Settiquette: Bank Holiday Special with Cosmidisco X Simon Paul and platoonuk’s very own brownnathan and benny_blanco_mcr on the decks til late and if you move quick you can nab one of the limited free tickets with a drink on our website.

For Settle Down Sundays, alongside our cult cinema we’ll have a bunch of Bloody Mary’s and toasties and arty stuff to help us recover, so if you are checking out West Didsbury Makers Market then stop in!

Then on bank holiday Monday we are off to do some street art for Taphouse Takeover at for their fundraiser weekend. If you haven’t been to Rave Cadets you should definitely check out this top family friendly day rave for kids of all ages- there is a top line up of DJ’s and, well as our street art contribution there’s loads of fun stuff for the family like face painting, street food and entertainers to enjoy, and it’s all going towards keeping the Taphouse going as a true community establishment, so come along and show your support!

Things are starting to heat up in our lil community space so we thought we’d give you an update on our next shortly!

First up, we’ve got our Soft Launch Settiquette party this Saturday, with limited free tickets w a free drink on check in, so come and check out our progress so far and have a lil boogy, we got some top DJ’s spinning til 2.

Next Thursday, BRUSH N BEATS are returning, with teaching and on the decks - this was by far our most popular art event last year and is sure to sell out so nab an EARLYBNB promo while you can.
Going forwards through August, the super popular is returning on 22nd, as well as our other resident artist night, Intro to Street art.

There’ll be more stuff coming up in our art program whilst we finish off the refurb, so more events will be coming online (as well as lots of secret additions) as we get closer to fully reopening, so watch this space.

Hey badgers, alreet? Sett has been going through a lil refurb recently but we are happy to announce that our events are coming back over the next few weeks!

This weekend, you are welcome to come and chill out in our lil culture cafe, mess around with paint by day and have a boogie by night on Friday and Saturday. On Settle Down Sunday we’ll be serving up banging Bloody Mary’s and art during the day, before our Cult Cinema Club at 5.30 - this weekend we are showing the most excellent Willow with free popcorn for everyone! The bar will be serving hot chocs for the bairns and wine and cocktails for the big bairns with hotdogs for anyone hungry! Tickets are free but limited to the space so get in quick.

We also have free tickets available for our Soft Launch Settiquette next Saturday night and our first art class on 1st August sees the return of ! More to follow on this so stay tuned!
