NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of Various Streets in Loggerheads, Adbaston and Eccleshall are satisfied that it is necessary to close the following lengths of road; Stoneyford, Peatswood; Doley Road, Bishops Offley; Doley Road,
Adbaston; Napley Road Napley; Pinfold Lane, Almington; Pinfold Lane, Hales; Flash Lane, Blore; Tunstall Lane, Bishops Offley; Brodder Lane, Peatswood; Tag Lane, Peatswood; Berrisford Road, Peatswood for a period of no more than 5 days from 25th March 2024 because of the likelihood of danger to the public during carriageway repair works being undertaken by Staffordshire Highways.
Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works (and for emergency services vehicles or for vehicles requiring access to properties on the length of road which is closed).

We are especially interested in hearing from people who know of any Veterans local to the Parish, or any descendants of those who would have been involved to collect their stories. NOTICE is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 8th February 2024 intends to make an Order the
effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Lower Road in Ashley between its
junctions with Jug Bank and Larkhill Lane unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to properties on the length of road or is being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 1st February 2024 intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Newcastle Road in Loggerheads from its junction with Mucklestone Road in a generally north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 400 metres unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to properties on the length of road or is being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

The order will come into operation on 5th February 2024 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date, taking place nightly between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00. The road will be open at all other times. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16th February 2024 by 06:00 hours.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the Highway surfacing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
