"Wye aye man" new to the taps, we bring you Postcard Pale from from Newcastle Upon Tyne.
A banging mid-strength pale ale that packs a punch of tropical fruits galore with subtle citrus tones of lemon, lime and mandarin to cut through a medley of sweet fruits from a winning combination of Citra and Ekuanot hops..they say Newcastle gives great party vibes. Here at the THP Malc & Karen are celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary (30/09), and it happens to be a birthday celebration too. (30/09). We might be a day early, but there may be a bit of snackage flying around later and along with the best choice of beer (many other beverages available) in town, it's sure to be a happy Sunday.

Stealth Brew Co

It’s the start of our week here at THP!

Come and see why this beer brewed by yours truly at Stealth Brew Co is the fastest selling thing currently across our 2 pubs.

Brewed with a love for the mosaic hop which makes up 90% of the hop bill on this one accompanied with a small amount of Citra (Hop Burst), Amarillo leaf, Cascade leaf. Fermented with WHC Labs Mango Madness yeast which overall give this hazy IPA a cavalcade of mango, grapefruit and citrus with a light bitterness.

Ok so anyone that already has the book already knows this but we respect the requirement by CAMRA not to announce it until today.

5 continuous years for us in the guide is something we are proud of and passionate about as less than 10% of British pubs are included.

We care very much about serving you a perfect pint (or any measure) and we thank the local CAMRA members for voting us in again.

Our venue in Calne The Piggy Bank Micropub has also made it in this year for the first time.

As we aren’t serving food for now our Sunday hours are changing from this weekend.

Open 14:00 to 19:00 Sundays.

Fluffed up fruity tang-tang of a beer this one! Tropical fruits smashing against the citric pink grapefruit shores of your mouth. It ain't easy bein' squeezy!

Something new and delicious coming to a tap near you soon. Absolutely rammed with hops, mostly Mosaic plus a sprinkling of Citra, Cascade and Amarillo fermented with a new yeast Mango Madness with extra pale and lager malt as the base.

But why Roman Pavement you might ask, what’s stealthy about that?

Many of these old mosaic pavements are covered up to protect them from the elements. The nearest to us is Woodchester which was last uncovered in 1973 and as a 6 year old kid I was taken to see it.

It's our 6th Birthday. Let's get freaky! This is a luxurious cherry milkshake-inspired sour ale, with red velvet birthday cake (stuffed with guava frosting!) piled on top. Get some!

A returning beer from Drop Project Brewing Co

We remember how well this went last time so snapped it up again.

This 5.2% Double Dry hopped Pale Ale serves up a delicious medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Fermented with Vermont Yeast, packed full of Citra and Mosaic Hops and Dry Hopped with enhanced pellets it’s a punchy combination of fruity, tropical and citrus notes!

Martyn Wellman passed away suddenly this week.

A lovely old chap who loved his sour and strong beers along with his love of motorcycles.
