This week, we are showcasing artistic decorations from UntanglemyStringart, football artworks by Socagiftz, unique homemade soaps from Heidi's Soap Company’, pottery from Red Door Ceramics, personalised decorations and gifts from Alimanda Crafts, and kids face painting by PampaCandi.

Join Cycling Citizens MK on 16th December 2023 at 10:30 am in Station Square, MK9 1LA, where numerous MK residents will don their Santa suits for a fun and festive event, taking a brief ride through Central Milton Keynes to Campbell Park and back – A rehearsal for a formal world record attempt next year.

There will be prizes for companies and schools with the most cyclists who have registered, and for the best blinged bike!

As well as creating fun, the event will bring together leaders from different business, education and community organisations who are members or supporters of a new broad-based alliance to get more people cycling in MK.

The underpass crossing V6 Grafton Street from Midsummer Boulevard near the old Santander Grafton Gate Office is temporarily closed for 4 to 6 weeks from 4 December due to roadworks. Safe alternative routes for pedestrians are available from:

2. Midsummer Boulevard from 401 Grafton Gate direction

Busy decorating your gingerbread house? So does our in-house bakery team, but they think BIG. Our oversized gingerbread ‘house’ isn’t a house – it’s a 1 to 145 scale edible Unity Place replica!
 
From planning and designing, baking to decorating, it took the dedicated bakery team 20 hours to make this edible Unity Place. Apart from butter, sugar and other essential ingredients, the gingerbread building contains 400g real ginger.
 
The team is incredibly proud of the masterpiece. Head Baker Viktor said, ‘It’s not just about baking, we have to plan carefully and calculate precisely like an architect.’. Baker and ‘main builder’ Chloe added, ‘It took a lot of hard work and planning and was a great experience. I really enjoyed making it.’

Spread the joy of Christmas to families whose children would otherwise not receive a gift by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts. Dolls, teddy bears, cars, family-friendly CDs/DVDs, books, stationaries, clothing, hats & gloves, accessories, and even make-up and toiletries for the teens are welcome. The Salvation Army United Kingdom and Ireland Territory will then wrap them and distribute to those in need.

The main entrance of Unity Place will be relocated to the Urban Food Market from Wednesday, 27th September to Tuesday, 3rd October, due to installation work.

The temporary access is located approximately 85m north of the current Station side entrance, with a big yellow “U” sign indicating Urban Food Market. Please look for the directional signage or check with our Guest Service Ambassadors and Security team members should you have difficulties locating the temporary entrance.

The Work Café and Urban Food Market will be open as usual.
