Yesterday, once again, I found myself in a situation where I was being abused and ridiculed in several pages where I advertise my shooting range and activities. Members of the public in my region insinuating, trying to link what I do in my hobbies, business, in a flawless way, guiding, coaching and learning safe practice in airgun use, to USA gun crime. My article on a couple of pages was withdrawn by admin. As a person who in the past has gained GBR judge, qualified coach, responsible for over 15,000 people safely shooting at my range, no complaints to police or local councils. I advertise on about 60 Facebook community pages, sadly I continue to have to fight the public and stand up for my own livelihood, my hobbies and social interests, simply because of USA gun legislation. Next week is school holidays here in the UK, sadly I will loose out financially with families backing out and negative publicity.
Due to the fact that as a range owner I have to demonstrate a higher level of competency, safeguarding the public and learning safe gun practice, I do not feel like I deserve the public to be trying to associate me, link me, blame me, cause arguments, because of USA out of control gun legislation.
USA, get to grips with better licensing policies and realise what you are doing to people on a prolonged basis. It is not appreciated, not wanted, not asked for either. I just have to waste my time standing up for the safer side of shooting sports.

It has not been easy for Yulia Korostylova in this seasons Skanaker League. Despite being ISSF and ESC ranked, Yulia has been unable to travel to international competitions, due to being in the Ukraine army. However, Yulia has somehow kept going and trained when she can, sometimes not possible due to the war and bombs going off around her. Brother to Pablo who not long ago was European Champion, in top 10 ISSF and ESC ranking.
Yulia has a bad first round, I think it came to quick and she was not ready, but since then she has shot the 2 highest scores in the league at 584 twice. If she had a good opening round, she would have been in contention to win the league. Sadly many Ukraine athletes can not leave the country to compete in a time of war. We will try and keep these athletes active and in touch with others, in bad times. Keep it up Yulia, your one of the worlds best.

Daniel upping his game through Skanaker League, he equalled his best scores in the opening 2 rounds of the league, then went higher on 3 occasions to 580, 582 & 581. Able to compete from his club location internationally, adding a competitive edge to his game. The Skanaker League allows people in world wide locations to compete and come together, locations where opportunity is sometimes not possible. Congratulations to Daniel, now 4 points higher at the top end and the winner of 2022 Skanaker Electronic League.

Thanks to Enver Mamedov who had to move from Ukraine to Poland, then to Austria where he has been able to join a club. Enver submitted all scores. Good look to Enver who represents Azerbaijan at a forthcoming international event in Baku, this might be a World Cup event, I am unsure what Enver was meaning.

The Skanaker League committee can not and will not tolerate supportive actions and words, that go against the unity and respect of all athletes in the league. A decision has been made to protect the community and safeguard how individual athletes feel in the league. Therefore we have to revoke the participation of any individual who is supportive of the war, or who indicates that they think or accept going against guidelines set by both the ISSF and IOC is acceptable.
Preventative measures will be discussed within the league committee, which will prevent and hopefully preserve the civilised Skanaker League community.

Due to the actions of Russia flying aircraft armed with nuclear missiles over Sweden, whilst reading several articles and reports about this. I now have no option but to break all ties with Russia and will apply a 9 year ban on any Russian participation in any forthcoming Skanaker League events. Our league is a global, sporting community, non threatening, non intimidating. It is named after Ragnar Skanaker the Swedish Olympic Gold winner and legend. Our other scorer is Swedish, many athletes and the core of this current league are from Sweden.

I have had to use a new score chart which has been copied and pasted from a previous document because the coding was not in place for round 9 and 10. I am not familiar how to add the coding, so I have had to use an old document which only had 8 rounds coding in place. If anyone is familiar with Google Spreadsheets more than me and can assist, then they are welcome.

PLEASE NOTE - Nearly all people who have entered Skanaker league are sending entry fees through on Paypal, but they are sending the wrong way. Paypal is charging fees and a lower amount is arriving. It is impossible to buy and ship trophies around the world. I can not learn 32 people how to use Paypal and I simply do not have the time for all the messages to sort this issue out. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ENTRY FEES. I will do the score chart as best I can, but If yous are wanting trophies then someone else will have to take some of the work on and sort things out. I will refund the 4 athletes who eventually sent the correct amount.

Skanaker Electronic League, Round 1 scores. The 3 Slovenia athletes will be late for Round 1 scores due to Covid 19 closures, but they are back soon. Please be aware that the Class division are not in descending order, coding was added but it prevented the leaderboard in the main division from working, it was locked. I have asked a friend if he can look at it and just hope he can. Other athletes can still have Round 1 scores included, but the 7 point penalty rule is used

Round 1 scores need sent in by this Sunday February 13. Any scores received that have been shot after the round date will have the 7 point penalty rule used.

This is the start list for the Skanaker league. Please do not ask if you can join as a late entry. A person has to add coding to program the score chart, this is voluntary and we can not start the coding again for any late entries. Today everyone can start adding their training scores. You can see the coding in the start list below and the 3 athletes we have to start to do all the coding again who were not on the first list.
Scores can also be sent to Anders Stromberg in Sweden and to myself. I will add Anders email address this evening

First attempt at a Rapid Fire Pistol target system. Part of the way through i decided the time was right to get the scriber out and start splitting millimetres down to teeeeenths. Further desigh work will include fitment of electronics and laptops, this will take a while but Rome was not built in a day. Electronics will not be on this particular target face, this is just a pre design tester.

Times getting closer to the start of the new Skanaker Digital League. Entries close on the 28th January. Training score reports can be saved from 30th January and Round 1 date for sending scores in is 13th February

There are 5 ex Intershoot electronic targets for sale in about 10 days time. I am waiting on photos of the actual full system set up. For now I have had to extract present photos from Intarso website.
Each single lane comes with 100 target faces, 10 backing and 2 paper rolls.
