Observium is proud to announce the new Blockchain-based BitRRD format!

http://www.observium.org/blockchain/

Early tests indicate an average installation will require 4-5 Vega 64 or GTX 1080TI GPUs for BitRRD mining. These can be easily and inexpensively obtained via Amazon.

Observium Designed from the ground up to replace the existing round-robin database format, the new storage format will leverage blockchain technology to provide unparallelled scalability, reliability and provide a means of exploiting underutilised hardware.

We recently committed some changes to how we poll Citrix Netscalers which resulted in polling times dropping to a fraction of what they were previously.

Dropping from ~350 seconds to ~70 seconds. Not bad!

We recommend using large (~80) max-rep values on these devices.

Hey guys!

We have a couple of RFEs open with Brocade regarding missing port sensors on VDX and FCX platforms.

Here are the RFE IDs regarding this two subjects :

PRODRFE104332: regarding VDX implementation
PRODRFE104333: regarding FCX implementation

If some of you have these platforms and consider this to be basic information that it is mandatory to provide in 2017, please start harassing your SE ;-)
