Just a reminder tomorrow’s 100 Sporting Competition is CANCELLED due to the forecast storm.

Due to the severe winds forecast we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 100 Sporting Northumberland Championship due to be held on Sunday 20th October. We will look at dates and see if we can re-schedule this event.
We will be running our Saturday practice tomorrow of DTL, S***t, Sportrap, multi 8 trap, and 50 Sporting utilising some of what would have been the competition layouts. We hope to see you tomorrow.

Groundsman Required
Bywell Shooting Ground currently has a position available for a Groundsman. Bywell is a family run business and one of the largest Clay Shooting Grounds in the country running National Championships. We are looking for a team player who is motivated and enthusiastic. The role involves trap maintenance, setting targets, preparing and overseeing competitions along with grass cutting and general up keep of the ground. Training will be given, prior experience in country sports would be advantage.
This is a full-time position, 40-hour week including some overtime.
Tuesday – Saturday 9.00 – 5.30pm with occasional Sundays.

Duties Include – Serving and communicating with customers, dealing with customer queries and exchanges, Processing online orders from our website, use computer software to record stock, managing our customer membership program and booking and liaising with clients for shooting lesson bookings.

Requirements- have excellent interpersonal skills, an appreciation of computer use in a workplace, the ability to work as part of a small team, own transport essential. An interest in country pursuits would be advantageous.
