As most of you know I have been going through my 1st bout of covid this last week which was horrendous.
You may remember I like all things natural.
I have been using aromatherapy oils for my own wellbeing and mental health as well as for ailments for over 10 years, but more so regularly.
I have been using a mixture of different oils mixed with coconut oil to help me recover from Covid and I am soo pleased with the results.
I have also been using oils to help me through the menopause which I have just started and these oils help calm my anxieties, stress, hot flushes, insomnia, sweating to name but a few.

I am sooo excited to share the first draft of my Meditation & Mindfulness journal which has been in creation this year.
I have some changes to make before I fully promote but I sooo excited to see it printed.

Why use my journal/notebook I hear you ask?
As well as meditation, i journal.
I journal which allows me to keep a log of how I am feeling, what triggers me with stress, anxieties, what I am grateful for, making my own affirmations etc. Journalling works alongside my meditation and i love it. It's soo addictive.

As its 1st Sept I am going to challenge myself to do at least 3 exercise classes a week and I want to lose up too 7 Ibs.
Reason I am doing this is because I have been pushing myself out of comfort zone to improve my health and wellbeing due to medical reasons and cos I am overweight.

When YOU think of meditation what does this mean to YOU?
For me meditation does not mean tribe or cult etc it means how to calm your monkey mind and find peace within by calming the thoughts, feelings and sensations in your body.
Since meditating I have felt so much more freedom of the mind.

Hi everyone
I have been very quiet on here over the past month as I just needed some time for me to reflect and now I AM BACK!
Through my meditation journey I have realised when I need to take time for me and it seems to be more frequent than I thought but understanding ourselves and our journey is important.
I will be back online Tues and Thurs this week with some guided meditation. Anyone is welcome from beginners to novices.

FEAR and ANXIETY
Today was the day I faced my fear by cycling on the road from my flat down some main roads to a country road.
I hear you say why did I feel fear and anxiety.
Over 1 year ago I bought my bike and a neighbour took me out on it and I ended up being ambulanced to hospital after what they thought may have been a seizure. Thankfully after not driving for 6 months and a few tests it turned out to be a very deep faint. Which was very scary.
I haven't been down the road I had the incident on (I call it this as i don't want to label it) since then but TODAY I faced my fears and anxiety and I DID IT I DID IT.
I ended up cycling for 1 hour and I FEEL FABULOUS NOW as well as a bit achy.
Gillian thank u for your support and joining me today - it meant alot!

I hear you say why?
My life changed so much after I started meditating. I knew I had to let go of my mums sudden passing 16 years ago but the thought of doing that was more painful than the actual day my mum died. But I did it after meditation and visualisation and I can now meditate visualising my mum and I cannot tell you how much peace I have found and now not consumed with grief.
All my friends, family and work colleagues have all told me how much calmer and not soo stressed out I am which is a big compliment.
You too can let go of things as well as calming your mind from worries that we all have from everyday life. The worries do not need to consume you anymore as I can give u techniques to help calm them down.

Our minds can feel alot like this tree all entangled and messy, which then causes alot of anxiety and stresses.
You don't need to have a mind like that!
Mine used to be like that tree and with Meditation I learnt how to not let my mind get tangled with thoughts and I learnt how to let go of them and now I have found peace within me.
I never thought peace was soo beautiful, but it is.
