What an amazing week! The children of Stockcross CE Primary School performed 3 stunning showings of the whole school production of ‘The Jungle Book’. The acting was superb and every single child was amazing. Thank you to all of the volunteers who gave up their time to make props, costumes, paint faces, sound and lighting… the list goes on! We are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive community. Thank you 🙏 🎭🌟

Just one more sleep until the whole school production of The Jungle Book at the theatre in Horris Hill school. Cue full excitement, lots of face paint and humming catchy songs 😍🐒✨

Only 3 more sleeps until the opening night of the whole school production of ‘The Jungle Book’. Just two more days for the final finishing touches before the children showcase their talents. We can’t wait to see the children shine ✨

🥳 Dust off your grass skirts for our Summer End of Year Party!
💃 Children from all year groups can be dropped into school reception from 5-6pm for some disco dancing fun whilst adults continue round to the playing field for drinks, food and a good ol'child-free chinwag!
🌭At 6pm children can be collected from the hall for food and more fun out on the playing field.

🤩 So come along, throw on your most colourful items of clothing and/or accessories. There will be a prize for the best dressed child AND adult!

🎟️ Disco entry £5 including a hotdog and a drink.
🍭Tokens will be available for children to purchase from the Tuck Shop and play the Lucky Dip.

We are very lucky to have a children’s author in our parent community and Larry has been
shortlisted for the Scholastic Laugh out Loud Award.

🎸🥁🎤 Over the past year, we've been working closely with Stockcross CE Primary School and Welford & Wickham Primary School to introduce students to playing in a band.

We've been running short, 5-week courses each half term with some students never having played an instrument before. The results have been superb and we've been over subscribed every time!

Thank you to the Head of the Kite Federation, Jo Lagares, for the opportunity - a great partnership that has brought music to some more children! 🎉

This week we welcomed our September 2024 Reception starters for their first visit. Children and parents came for a family lunch (thanks to the PTFA) and a stay and play. We are looking forward to seeing them again in a couple of weeks before coming to join us on their school journey in September. We are so looking forward to welcoming them to our Stockcross family 😊🙏

We are proud to launch the Kite Primary Federation’s inaugural Festival of Sports on 22nd July 2024. The children from Welford & Wickham and Stockcross schools will come together for a morning of sporting fun.

The event will take place at Stockcross School and children from Welford & Wickham should be dropped off at the normal kiss and drop time. Collection at the end of the day is as usual from your child’s school.
