Public post:
Just received a call from 'public health department' - asking if I'd had the covid jab and then if I'd had any reactions. That was when my cautiousness got really worried, They would not answer which public health department they were in, or location they were calling, and hung up when I asked how they got my number.
If it feels weird - never give out personal information. ask the awkward questions. real people get it, and will find a middle ground.
mobile number used (came up as scam potential on my mobile too which was useful) +44 7477 473595

Yes losing a mobility equipment can have THaT many complications - in her case death from complications caused by damage to a chair .
Disabled activist dies after United Airlines destroyed her custom wheelchair
Do you agree?
Is this helpful?
Stuff like this is a danger.
The picture is a chair being pushed by a carer (also called an attendant).
Most people want/need independence that the chair is a tool to support that. This Comoany offers none of those options or even gets you to think about that.
For £45/hr (direct contact 1hr30 minutes consult time) you can receive a personalised service from us with help and Supoort in what chairs or mobility advice is best for you to consider taking into account your personal situation.

What was your biggest mistake in buying equipment -
Mine Not realising the company I was with sold me what they had in stock rather than talking about what I actually needed/where I could get help from

Or disagree
Many of us use apps as distraction theory to good effect…
I making this super public post because honestly what is the GDPR right to be forgotten….
It is simply that.
Why companies still can’t understand that I do not know!
The following images are screenshots taken from a website that we have now asked twice for my mums email to be taken off their system as it is the one she shared with my dad…. But wait for it.
My dad died suddenly in March 2012. Never mind the total shock, zero warning and it happening on his birthday etc…. But recruitment companies keep mining it appears his LinkedIn account email which is my mum who shared it with him and still emailing. It is now October 2021 and we are still getting mails!
Every single email reviewed since then has been sent the same info, most listen at the first or second time. But how many ways can you state a person is dead without rehashing all that trauma and grief! It’s a reason I’m using this page and not my personal profile.
Please share and ad your thoughts on This.
There needs to be a better way for force companies to annotate accounts such as my dads linked in as deceased or whatever. He never had Facebook so we didn’t have that issue.
But still there needs to be a bereavement team for companies that get this. That if you can’t get in to the account - not got that phone number any more etc that they will archive it.
We…yep! Me!
Even when I feel like I'm being clear and concise 🥴🥴🥴
Went to a special occasion delayed by covid.
So so glad I had power wheels
Able to signpost someone to sources of power as a parent you feel the inability to keep up with your kids way more than you do feeling left out.
True story.
A friend of mine kept trying to get me to go with them, I so wanted to, but couldn’t because I didn’t have the right equipment and it couldn’t keep up and I had so much PND and trauma from the whole situation, I still haven’t been able to tell them how much them truest wanting me to go Pokémon hunting with them and their family and to other walks etc meant but how I was so not mentally able to verbalise why I said no.
Keep asking those around you to join in.
If they say no and you don’t understand why.
Maybe find a way to ask them what they need to join in?
Anyways keep your mental health all!
Now open again to offer our service:
***Peer mobility equipment support***
**What it is**
It is an quality advice and help service on an individualised basis.
The best equipment is one that is right for you and what you’ll never get in informal way is a full discussion about your circumstances, your budget and future proofing.
**Why spend money on this service?**
This type of service is charged but at a low sustainable rate.
It is charged like this because the shops and stores get your business and thus get funded that way, they want to sell you products they have in store.
An unbiased support that listens to you, gets you with the list of questions you to ask BEFORE purchasing and what is not suitable for you or dangerous.
It will give you a range of options, it will use their personal knowledge to support you including research etc about a range of wheelchair types, add ons, sources
It will help you to plan ahead so you aren’t buying a range of products or wasting money on things that with the right questions - you know would or wouldn’t work for you and the positives and negatives of these.
Get links of examples currently available and what’s out there, get support in considering how and when you’d use things
I’m in the process of making this into an online workshop at a lower cost for those interested
£20/hour
