We have an opportunity available for a Gaming Assistant to join our ever-growing gaming lounge in the North East.

As our Gaming Assistant, you will be working as part of the team in Harry’s Game Shack in our new store based in Newcastle. You will be expected to promote and sell our range of party packages, our in store offers and tournaments.

Joining us on a Part Time, permanent basis working a minimum of 16 hours per week with a 3 Month probation period.

Key responsibilities as our Gaming Assistant will include (but not limited to):

- Working with children
- Hosting parties/Events
- Serving food
- Low level technical maintenance and troubleshooting
- Cash handling
- Monitoring stock
- Opening and closing the store
- Customer focused sales
- Cleaning/Tidying

Skills and experience required to become our Gaming Assistant:

- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Be highly motivated with a focus on customer experience.
- Personality is central to making a success of this role and we specifically look for people who are enthusiastic and professional with a genuine interest in people.
- A detailed prior knowledge of technology is not required as full training is provided.
- Motivated with a flexible attitude to work.
- Experience in gaming is preferred but not essential.
- DBS check is essential but can be carried out prior to appointment.
- Weekend work is essential
